Villa Vonskari is not just a holiday home – it is a quiet Mediterranean tale of space, light and complete privacy, situated in the heart of the island of Krk, in the authentic village of Kras.

The architecture blends contemporary luxury with local tradition – natural stone on the façades preserves the spirit of Kras, a protected cultural site, while the interior exudes contemporary Italian design.

The interior is considered down to the last detail: a Veneta Cucine kitchen, Bosch appliances, Caranto Quartz worktops, Kartell dining chairs, a Samoa Divani seating set and beds, and Aldafre and Colombini wardrobes. The villa offers two fully equipped kitchens (main and summer), as well as two dining tables for eight.

All bedrooms have large en-suite bathrooms, styled in a modern manner with Italian ceramics, underfloor heating, touch mirrors and luxurious details. Satin cotton bed linen, safes in every room, and private terraces in selected rooms further emphasise the sense of intimacy and attention to the guest.

Surrounded by a large, fully fenced plot of 1,177 m², the villa provides what is today the greatest luxury – uncompromising peace. The centrepiece of the grounds is an impressive 50 m² pool, with salt water, heating and robotic cleaning, surrounded by a sun deck of no less than 200 m² which enjoys up to 12 hours of sun per day during summer. An outdoor shower, pergola, loungers with towels, parasols, and ambient night lighting create the atmosphere of a private resort, while the grounds are arranged as a small Mediterranean garden – olive grove, lavender, bougainvillea, kumquat, cycads, and pittosporum.

Guests are greeted on arrival with a welcome gift, including homemade olive oil from the estate’s own olive grove – a small but sincere signature from the hosts. On request, a private chef, massage therapist, and organisation of weddings and private events are available.

Although hidden from the summer crowds, the villa sits in a perfect micro-location – Malinska, Krk, Punat, Njivice, and Baška are only a few minutes’ drive away, while the nearest beach is just 6 km. Active holiday enthusiasts will also enjoy numerous cycling routes and hiking trails, such as the Camino Krk trail.
