"The staff were nice"

"The lady who showed me around: Is the moment. Very Valentina from White Lotus season 2. Her impression of people guzzling alcohol was incredible, and the pirouette she did with room spray was iconic. Her character gives the place character. The price for this place was unbeatable, altho make sure it's clear it's only the tax you have left to pay. I proffered this hotel to the many expensive ones I visited, including the Raddison for a few reasons. Djerba is already a very safe island, and my stay at Rodes wasn't interupted by unpleasant security checks. Their resturant and bar is also open to the public which meant if i wanted friends to visit on the premeises i could still hang out with them if they were at a separate hotel. Also, I'd recommend Rodes in the winter months too, because the sun hits the pool still but the design of the building itself shields you from the wind. At a few of the bigger resorts I could not sunbathe at all because the wind was too cold despite the sun being British summer standard. Note, you need to search Rodes Apart Hotel on google maps to find it. The address listed does not take you to the location."

"Everything was very good and beyond expectations. 🍽️ The food is varied, and I attended a special Italian cuisine night which was excellent. 🏊‍♂️ The swimming pool is beautiful and well-maintained. 🚗 The only issue is that the parking area is quite small and cannot accommodate many cars. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel. 👍"

"Myself and my friend spent a week here and it completely exceeded our expectations/hopes. The pool is really big and perfect for a good swim around the palm tree garden, with lovely areas to lay on your sunbed - we found a lovely nook where we felt a good amount of privacy. The room was great - nothing extra special, but it had a nice balcony with a good view of the pool and it was lovely and peaceful. Not sure how it will be in full season, but it was very chilled out at the end of March! The other guests were largely slightly older - between 45-75 ish - and it’s not really suitable for young kids due to the pool layout, so it’ll this added to the relaxed feel. The staff were all great - very polite and diligent and some were particularly warm and friendly. The food was pretty spectacular - so much choice of both mains and puddings - quite dangerous really, as you just want to try everything!! Pretty much all the cakes are as good as they look, which is amazing! We didn’t have a hamam, but we had a peek and the steam room looks really gorgeous and traditional, with lots of additional treatments to choose from. The beach was lovely - I had been worried about other reviews mentioning the seaweed - it wasn’t a problem for us, but at other times of year maybe there is more.. Anyway, the sea is not the cleanest I’ve swam in, but it is great for swimming, with a lovely, gradual, sandy floor. Thanks Sentido Djerba Beach - we will be back! "
