"House had everything we could possibly need or want to have a wonderful weekend. The screened porch was great for relaxing, kayaks were fun, nice little dock for fishing or stargazing. We even went for a swim! Perfectly clean and in good condition, and was near enough to go to Metropolis and Paducah for entertainment. There's a dollar store in Brookport for all of the items one inevitably forgets to pack. XD"

"We loved our stay at The Southern. The property is amazing - beautiful, spacious, and wonderfully private. It's the perfect place to unplug from a busy life. The house is lovely and we immediately felt right at home. It's comfortable, spacious, and the kitchen has everything a home chef needs. We spent our mornings reading and playing guitar by the pond.
