A group of us rented this home for a weekend. Our first night, we had a miserable experience as the power, heat and gas fireplace did not work on the main floor and we wore winter coats in the dark. Upon arriving, the home was close to 50 degrees, and the owner suggested we use inadequate, small plug in space heaters and blankets. Once the power and heat went off, we told the owner how uncomfortably cold it was and she did nothing to help fix the situation. She blamed the failure of her electrical services on a local power outage, but I confirmed there was none. In the morning it took an urgent call to the owner telling her we were about to leave (she never checked in), for her to take any action on the situation. Clearly this house doesn't have adequate heating, despite the listing saying it is heated. There were directions to guests about resetting breakers - had I known I was going to have to manage electrical issues I would not have stayed here. The hot tub was a main draw for us - yet the hot tub did not work / never turned on during our stay. We alerted the owner and asked her to send someone to fix it. The hot tub was never fixed while we were there. We didn't feel comfortable in this home and the amenities were not what was promised. The final straw came with a pitiful resolution for all our troubles by the host, inadequate for the experience we endured. My friends and I would never stay in this home again.

We seriously enjoyed the hot tub, the kitchen was well stocked and plenty of clean sheets and towels! The beach was a special treat and the fur babies loved checking out the wildlife in the area. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful place!

The property was quiet and safe. The beach was close by and the dogs loved it. Would have stayed longer but too many fees.

Overall very nice. The rocking chairs in the living room were not very accommodating for older folks. Curtains in the living room/dining area would be nice. Slept well, lots of sleeping space. When we were leaving, a kind security guard helped jump one of our cars. Thank you! The family enjoyed themselves immensely, thank you very much!

Beautiful view

Cabin is very clean, spacious bedrooms, and a beautiful view. Only thing missing was the remote to the living room tv, but with the view, didn’t really matter! Nice back yard, deer and a raccoon visited next door while we enjoyed the hot tub! Very quiet street. Overall, a great place!

Wonderful stay

We five women loved being here. It was a quick walk down to the beach. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a quick walk down to the beach. We will be returning!

The view says it all

If you are familiar with Dillon Beach you will love this house. I was surprised how easy the access to the beach was give the location of this property. A short walk down the road leads to a trail that lands you on the beach in less than 5 minutes from the door. And if you didn’t get enough of the ocean the view from the living room includes plenty of the pacific and Bodega Head. Plenty of sleeping space for our party of 6 adults, two kids, and a baby.

Family getaway

Another great vacation making memories in this lovely home. Perfect location close to the beach. Plenty of room for the whole family including the fur baby! Great back yard with bbq fire pit and my favorite, a spa. The kitchen well stocked. Hope to be next year for more fun!

Perfect place

Gorgeous View

Really enjoyed this eclectic home that has a lot of character. Large front windows to give a gorgeous view of the ocean. Beautiful back yard with hot tub, fireplace and grill. House is well equipped with everything you need and is a comfortable place to be. Everything was clean when we arrived. Checkin instructions nice and easy even in needing to access the lock box. It was a perfect home for our girls trip. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect family get away

Darling inside and out! Perfect location, short walk to trail that leads to the beach or you can just enjoy the view from the dining room table. Love that it is mainly single story except a few bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Well equipped, comfy beds, plenty of towels. We will be back for sure!

Fun Family Time

This home is casual and comfortable and is ideal for a multi-generational family. Our group consisted of me, my sons and their families which included my adult and teen-aged grandchildren and two dogs. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the fire pit in the evening. Everyone agreed that we should make this a yearly event!

Great location

Great stay close to the beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. It was well stocked throughout and the location is unbeatable. In the backyard, The hot tub was lovely, and the outdoor shower was a bonus to rinse off after walking in the sand at the beach, and made rinsing off the dog super easy, too. The gate was easy to open and close, and the fully fenced and tidy back yard was a safe place for the dog to wander around in. The kitchen had all pots and pans needed for several different meals. The microwave worked just fine. I think the oven ran a little cool, so just note that when you are cooking and maybe crank up the heat a bit. The dining area was comfortable for all six of us. The beds and bedrooms were comfortable. One thing I do want to note here is they provided some difficulty for my older relative, as the stairs are very steep, and she was unable to go up and down the stairs. The bedroom on the ground floor has a VERY tall bed (like 4 feet tall), so she needed help getting in and out. We had a great time and would definitely consider staying here again.

A Wonderful Weekend Retreat

Being the first gathering of our family together since before the pandemic we wanted a special place for this reunion. Two of our sons live in Santa Rosa, so Dillion Beach seemed like a good place for us to converge, with one son's family in Kentucky, and our daughter and son in law, and my wife and I in Washington state. The beach was wonderful and kept our two grandsons occupied during the daytime. There was plenty of room in the house for the 10 of us. Furnishings were tastefully done, plenty of cooking utensils and gadgets supplied, and the backyard was set up for cozy evenings outside by the fire, although during our stay it got pretty chilly outside once the sun set, and we didn't actually use the fire pit or hot tub (next time!). Picturesque view out to the bay from the picture windows in the dining room, (but shades would have been useful once the evening sun sank to eye level.) I think the owner has a winner here. I hope to rent it again in the future!!!

Great Dillon Beach House

Pictures on the site make it look small but it is very spacious. The house is steps from the beach trail. I had a great 50th birthday there! It was very relaxing and wonderful.

Wonderful Place To Stay

Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a wonderful time. The house is stocked with most everything you need. The view of the ocean is great and the beach was amazing, and so dog friendly. Would definitely recommend.
