Old quaint famous hotel right in the heart of La Jolla. Staff was excellent,
King Room updated and very spacious. Great pool overlooking the ocean. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

It was great for what we needed. Very convenient to restaurants and Petco Park, which is why we were in San Diego. There is a parking lot next to the hotel that has many homeless people around and also had loud music from a car with many people out partying at 3:30am. The room is oddly shaped so the AC is hard to feel. There is also construction going on in the hotel, which actually wasn't too bad. All in all ẁas good, but would probably stay somewhere with a pool next time.
