「A good overnight stop on our journey to the south coast! Very friendly staff in the bar welcomed us, and were extremely helpful. Nicely decorated and spacious rooms. A good choice of decent meals on the bar menu available in the pub, so convenient not having to dine elsewhere. Excellent value, and both the evening and morning staff were great. Yes, a bit of road noise, and extractor noise heard in our 2 rooms, but we are used to silent nights living in a rural location!」

「Lovely hotel the only downside which I had not realised was breakfast started at 8 and we needed to leave at 730. The staff were lovely and provided us with cereal and milk the night before. We eat in the restaurant on the evening of our arrival and the food was excellent.」

「Great location for park and ride into Bath. We stayed in the main building-this was a mistake. It was noisy-the annex (where we have stayed before) is much better. Our room had a great view of the race course but unfortunately was directly above the kitchen. Kitchen smells and noise drifted up and on one occasion very loud music from the kitchen. 「16世紀から宿屋をやっているとの情報が出ていたが，本当に古いホテル。1階はパブとレストランで，地元の人でにぎわっている。お料理は大変おいしい。ステーキお勧め。Fish and Chipsも衣厚めな好きなタイプだった。古いので，階段が傾いていたり，部屋の床が傾いていてクローゼットが斜めになっていたりするのが愛嬌。大聖堂すぐそば。ホテルの駐車場は無いので，ホテルから徒歩5分くらいのBrown Street Car Parkに停める。ホテルで24Hのバウチャーを8GBPだったかで提供してくれるので，それをダッシュボードに置いとけばよい。」

「Parking was only ok because we arrived late in the day on a Saturday and were able to park on the street outside for free. Any other day and I think you’d have to pay to park on the high street. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Only stayed one night so no complaints. Pinos across the road was excellent for dinner. 」
