Very comfortable and convenient place to stay. The cabin is within riding distance to the Black Hills National Forest Service roads and 50” ATV trails. Beautiful view of Devils Tower from the deck.
The home and property were just as described in listing and perfect! The home was clean, had beautiful views of the surrounding hills and Devils Tower. It was a short distance to Devils Tower, Sundance, and Hulett. It was a quiet, peaceful setting and a great place to come back too after day trips.
Roy and Laurie were welcoming. We had a great stay in a beautiful home. The scenery was breathtaking. The only downside was the long gravel drive to the residence but once there you could kick back and relax. Highly recommend this rental.
Beautiful views, clean, peaceful, wonderful hosts, and had everything we needed. It was perfect for the bride and bride maids to get their hair and makeup done on wedding day. Also did dads first look on the deck with other bridesmaids pics on beautiful property.
We were so happy with our recent stay at this property. This home is warm and cozy and really has everything you need to be comfortable. The owners were so nice to work with. Yes, there is a long dirt road leading up to the property, but slow dow and take your time. We saw more deer on the drive than we have ever seen at one time. Lots of wild turkeys too! We loved being close to Devils Tower and it was wonderful to be able to see it from the house. We loved it! We were sad to leave and our next visit will be for more than the three nights that we stayed this visit. Thank you Roy and Laurie!
Absolutely stunning views. The house is well appointed with everything you would need, the beds are comfortable and it’s quiet. Laurie is an amazing hostess - I will definitely stay again and would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in this area.
We really enjoyed our stay! There was plenty of room for our group of 6 and the views were unbelievable! 3 nights was too short for us and I wish we could have stayed longer! We enjoyed the remote location, the quiet, seeing deer, the large kitchen and comfy couch and chairs.
What a great stay and introduction to the Black Hills of Wyoming!
The house is just as described and the pictures really do reflect the house well. The view of the devil’s tower is spectacular. I will definitely be coming back to stay again.
This place was perfect for us. Very clean and had all the amenities needed for our stay. We had wonderful communication with Laurie and Roy, they were very accommodating as well. The views were amazing and calming, needed after the busy days. I could have watched the Horses graze all day!
I've stayed in many places but this one by far exceeds everyone of them! Lowell & Kim have done an outstanding job making sure everything you would need is there waiting on you! The house is Beautiful & the Perfect place to get away to relax!! I highly recommend this place! We will be returning!
I stayed 10 days so I should know! It's a lovely property close to, and with a view of, Devils Tower. It is 8 miles up a county road from the main road which although I found a daunting idea, I actually really enjoyed. Google maps lead you straight to it. Nice and spacious with a great view and everything works well. Satellite TV in the main room and master bedroom and a lovely gas log fire . The property DOES have reasonably good wifi and my T mobile phone did have good connection there. I do this trip every year and would definitely repeat. It's a way from the nearest store and Uber Eats definitely don't deliver !!!!!!! Thank you Roy and Laurie
We really enjoyed our three night stay at Roy and Laurie’s house near Devil’s Tower. The home and everything in it is new, high quality and in perfect condition. It is so peaceful and the property and surrounding area is beautiful. The 8 mile gravel road takes about 15 minutes to travel on to get to the house or the highway with amazing scenery along the way. Closest grocery store is in Hulett which is about 30 minutes from the house. The three beds are comfortable…just be aware that the couch in the living room is not a sleeper…it has recliners. We had five people and the sleeping situation was fine for us. Overall a great experience and Laurie was very responsive.
We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful, well appointed property. It was clean and as described. The pictures don’t do it justice. Laurie is a wonderful host and answered all of our questions. I would absolutely recommend!!
We loved our stay here!! The view is amazing and beds were super comfy. Kim and Lowell were wonderful hosts and were very helpful. Cook lake was a bit of a drive but we caught several rainbow trout.
Wow! The home and landscape were even better than the photos online! We could see the tower in the distance, drove by wild turkeys and peacocks and had gorgeous light at all times of day! The kitchen was stocked with every possible spice and tea and the hosts were easy and fast to communicate with! You have to drive down a long gravel/dirt road, but it is well-maintained and adds to the experience! Thanks for great working AC and t.v. - I finally got to watch some of the Olympics on the road trip! We could live here! :)
We rented this house for a week for a family vacation. It is a beautiful house - very comfortable and clean with lots of amenities and a fantastic view of Devils Tower!
This home was immaculate. Well stocked and plenty of room for everyone. Easy check in and Kim was there for whatever we needed. My 18 year old daughter enjoyed feeding the horses and their dog is adorable! My other older daughter enjoyed walking the path up to the yurt and doing yoga outside on the upper balcony.
The landscape is a slice of heaven. We really enjoyed the drive down the well maintained gravel road. We went on one of the maintained forest roads and got stuck in the middle of a real live cattle drive. It was awesome!
My only complaint is the weather. It was great to see the storms roll in but was disappointed we didn’t get a chance to experience “big sky country” and see all the stars in the dark skies of Wyoming. I was looking forward to that. There’s a nice gas fire pit on the deck but if the weather was nice I would have enjoyed a real fire pit where we could have built a fire.
I definitely recommend this lovely home. Hoping we make it through here again someday.
This was a stunning location and the house was superb! It was better stocked than my own home, as clean as if it were brand new, and expertly decorated. The VIEW is one of the best I've had - perfect sunsets over Devils Tower National Monument. And if you stay up late enough, the stars are crazy. We were as comfortable here as we are in our own house - from a kitchen with every pot, pan, and appliance imaginable to bathrooms with thick luxurious towels and big bedrooms with comfy beds and huge closets. Washer/Dryer is top of the line, as are all the appliances. Satellite TV and some WIFI are provided, but honestly we hardly turned on the TV and never did the internet because we were so infatuated with the property. The porch is perfect for grilling and enjoying the outdoors. The 9-mile drive in from the main road is gravel, but we commented several times how well cared for it was - and we saw the best wildlife on that drive every day. I honestly can't say enough about it - and then you add in the owners, who were the easiest people we've ever worked with for something like this. We immediately loved them. We cannot wait to go back (cause we will) and neither can our kids. We are already trying to figure out if we can go back again this year. Thank you Kim & Lowell!
