Built in 2022, the Galloway House is a spacious ranch-style home located in the heart of Ackerman Valley, just two miles east of Devils Lake. With 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an attached heated two-stall garage, this home is perfect for families, groups, or anyone looking for a comfortable stay with both privacy and resort amenities.



The property sits directly across Highway 2 from Hovde Resort (formally known as Ackerman Acres) and JD's Bar & Grill (formally known as Ty’s Lodge), giving guests full access to the resort while enjoying the comfort of their own private home.

Wedding weekend

We needed a place to stay for our son's wedding. The house was perfect to sleep family and friends. We prepared food for the grooms dinner that we took to the venue. Then after the wedding we hosted brunch as they opened their gifts at the house. The spacious kitchen/living room area was the perfect set up for us to gather together in. We would definitely stay there again!

This property was amazing!!! It was clean, well stocked, and a perfect place to get together and have a wonderful time! It was easy to get in contact with owner when we had questions and they were answered in a timely fashion! I highly recommend this property if you need a beautiful, clean place to get away.

Nice quiet neighborhood house

A nice a clean place to stay at. My group absolutely loved the place. Close to the lake and town for easy acess. Reccommend for fishing groups of 10 people. Ample space for everyone. Highly recommend!!!!
