This hotel was beautiful. Walking distance to old town and the Basilica made it very convenient. Note that it is a big uphill coming back. Breakfast was lovely. Note that if you have any issues, there is no elevator. We were lucky that they were able to move us to a first floor room on our second day.

Great location in Old Montreal. The room was large with very high ceilings. Comfortable king size bed. Was a perfect spot for the weekend plans we had near Old Montreal. The view from the 5th floor was great! That being said, the included breakfast was underwhelming. The scone was very good but only came with a couple pieces of cheese. No jam. No butter. Same with the breakfast cookie the previous day. We think the hotel could certainly have done better especially with an onsite restaurant. Understood that the breakfast was advertised as it actually came to be, but it left a lot to be desired. We have stayed at less expensive hotels in Montreal that did much better for included breakfasts. We did expect more and were disappointed. Despite being a lovely hotel, we would not stay here again.

Location was great for our needs. The hotel is very close to a lot of good restaurants. Staff always greeted us as we walked into the hotel. Bed was very comfortable. The one criticism I have is that the hotel room needed more lighting. Despite that, I would stay here again if I were ever back in Montreal.
