Meet Your Home Away from Home
Our beautiful four-bedroom home sits less than a 5-minute drive from downtown Birmingham and all of its fantastic restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, and more! Our home also features an executive office with a dual-monitor setup (perfect for Work-from-home!) on the main floor along with two more full desk setups in the basement. In addition to the dual-monitor desks, the basement also features one full bedroom, a half-bathroom, an entertainment area including a large couch and 65" TV, card table, and ping-pong table!
Nestled on a beautiful, quiet street close to a big park perfect for the family and kids (and also a quick drive to Royal Oak, Berkley, Ferndale, and Beaumont Hospital) this is the perfect spot for any gathering or getaway!
Enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, Amazon Fire smart TVs, French Roast coffee pods + Keurig, Nespresso + pods, Memory Foam beds, fresh linens, in-suite washer/dryer, Solimo bath products, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Message us if there’s anything we can help with!

With just one step to the front door, our home has a half-bathroom on the ground floor along with the living room, the kitchen, and our executive office. The second floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The primary suite located on the second floor has its own en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet. Finally, our basement (down a full flight of stairs) is fully finished and features one bedroom, a half-bathroom, a home entertainment area w/ a 65" TV, two full dual-monitor desk setups perfect for Work-from-Home, and a ping-pong table!

Enjoy a seamless check-in experience with keyless digital access. Check-in anytime that fits your schedule, after 4:00 pm. If you’d like an early check-in, shoot us a message the day before your stay. If no other guest is checking out, you’re welcomed to check-in anytime!

Sink into soft, plush memory foam mattresses, hypoallergenic down alternative microfiber comforter, crisp clean linens, and extra blankets for the winter in each of our bedrooms. Stay rested with blackout drapes in each bedroom.

In addition to two king beds and two queen beds, we have a queen size air mattress and a super comfy couch in the basement too! Plenty of extra linens and pillows are available to ensure groups of any size have a comfortable, restful stay.

99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:
We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.
We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.
Parking

We have a garage that fits 2 cars in tandem, but it is a tight turnaround situation. Our driveway can fit 3 - 4 cars in tandem as well and finally, we have free street parking for any extra space needed!
Entry

The house is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock at the front door and on the side kitchen door. To access the house, enter the code we provide in your reservation check-in instructions, and press the CHECK to unlock.
When leaving, enter that same code followed by the CHECK mark and the deadbolt will close. The locks will also auto-lock after one minute if you forget to lock.
Extra Sleeping Arrangements

Air Mattress: Designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate.

We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:
- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know.
- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm.
- Please leave your shoes at the door.
- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies.
- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky.
- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.
- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.

While access to public transportation is not easily available from our house, UBER and LYFT run consistently in the area and are quick, cheap, and accessible options to get anywhere in the Birmingham/Royal Oak/Ferndale and Plymouth/Northville/Canton areas!
