「Beautiful park. Nice cottage. Very nice reception」

「We stayed here for only one night on Monday, 13 October 2025, on our way to Cape Town. It’s such a pity we couldn’t stay longer because this is a truly wonderful guesthouse. We had a lovely room with a beautiful river view. Mina at reception was incredibly friendly and helpful. She took such good care of us and accommodated our request to change to a river-view room without any trouble. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the guesthouse has a gorgeous garden. Breakfast was excellent...

「THIS WHOLE THING IS A SCAM!! The new owner of that establishment knew nothing of my booking and I had to find and pay for a night at another establishment which fortunately could accommodate me. The money I paid you did not go to the new owner, but instead they suspect it went to the woman that was running the place before it was sold 4 YEARS AGO!!!! 」

「We arrived in a heatwave and were very happy to find an air conditioner in the main bedroom but the second room had only a ceiling fan. The rooms were clean and well furnished with a fridge, kettle, makings of coffee. Plenty of water and ample hot water for the three of us. In future, I would choose to eat in Colesberg, about 5 Kilometers away. Safe parking was provided and our bicycle stayed on the car.」
