「We loved this little getaway for the weekend! The hobbit house was very clean and nicely decorated. Great amenities and nice gift bag provided. The towels were soft and the beds were comfy. My kids had a lot of fun feeding the goats and taking a ride on the paddle boat. The host Dean was fantastic! I have never had a host so nice and accommodating. We plan to return to the Sasquatch Ranch! Definitely recommend. 」

「House was as described and on a quiet cove, very charming. It meet all our needs for a small family/ mini vacation. Host was very quick on our info and code. Housekeeper could have spend a little more time on the cleaning. Hair from dogs from previous stays, was in corners and on base boards. 」

「This is an amazing property. The home is beautiful and sits on a quiet cove just off the main lake. The amenities were plentiful, including a new outdoor pool that we thoroughly enjoyed, games, floats, water toys and a large dock that easily accommodated our boat. The location is perfect - near restaurants and grocery stores. The host, Jenn, could not have been better. She was wonderful to work with, and we would highly recommend this home!!」

「Perfect from start to finish. More games and toys than we ever imagined. Kitchen had everything and more!!! Loved the double oven and extra refrigerators. Beds were so comfortable that some of us want to buy same for our homes. I highly recommend this property!」

「Perfect house for a group of 7 adults. Lots of comfy seating inside and out on the deck and dock. Well stocked with oil, spices, etc. Master bed was very comfortable. Other beds were OK. Dock area is small and not deep water. That didn't matter to us since we went in September. Wifi was very slow but we had 5 people trying to work so more our fault than the house. Overall, an excellent Lake Gaston rental. 」

「Great property. Owner was very accessible, knowledgeable and very nice. House and boat house were clean and in perfect condition. Our Grandkids said it was the best vacation house they had ever stayed in, lots of things to do. Pool table, corn hole, hot tub, kayaks and more.」

「Great communication and amenities. The location was beautiful. It was nice to have sheets, towels, and enough paper towels and toilet paper for a long weekend. We did wipe down the house when we got there and before we left. We felt like we left it a little cleaner than when we got there. It wasn’t dirty per se, it just could have been wiped down a bit more throughly.」
