ワンデュ・ポダラン ホテル

「Totally overpriced we paid $1500/night, should have been max $300/night. They claim they are a 5-star hotel but this is a 3 star place at best. I can’t comprehend that this place is a Taj collection hotel. We have stayed at many and there is NO comparison with Taj Gangtey and other 5 stars Taj hotels we have stay at. Don’t book.」

「Beautiful new hotel with balconies and great views over the valley. Staff were very friendly and helpful, going the extra mile to resolve the issue of double booking. Bhutanese food was superb and breakfast great. Would definitely recommend. 」

「Great location overlooking the valley. Huts are clean and modern with good heating. Staff are very friendly. Evening meal was good」

「Very good staff cleanest hotel .I advise all」

「Very nice place, with good food. But very expensive, particularly by Bhutanese standards. There's another place with a fantastic view directly overlooking the Punakha Zhong that is included in the package tour prices, so you don't have to pay extra. 」

「Although the bathroom clean it was stinking throughout our stay The Bar was short staffed and unable to take any snack orders The hotel discourages payment through Credit card and charges 3% over the bill for it」

「On 26.05.18 while reaching Khuru Resort, they denied your confirmation. We arranged new Hotel on high rate cause huge sufference. Please refund my entire amount paid to you & received by you immediately.」

「Dewachen is a amazing property and fantastic location overseeing the Phobjikha valley. Rooms with wooden flooring n walls are spacious with the old fashion bukhari (wood fired heater) and chopped firewood placed outside every room.Good breakfast options. Restaurant needs a bit of improvement since we were offered a set menu for lunch and dinner, would have preferred ala carte on a vacation. Lack of eating joints in the vicinity. Food and other facilities for drivers needs to improve else...

「Very nice basic hotel in the middle of town. Great food! The restaurant had some of the best food I've had in Bhutan. Nice sized deluxe rooms with AC and bath. Clean and comfortable. Price is right.」
