「We were so pleased with the private drive access leading to the beautiful home. This property had so much room, all the amenities you could ask for, peace and quiet. We loved that it was pet friendly also. The host was very nice and responded to all inquiries quickly. I’ll be back!!」

「The place was very nice! Many nice touches and we didn’t need anything. Just a heads up that the space at the lake is down over a steep hill, so be prepared to drive down if taking many things to enjoy around the fire pit. Front porch was a great place to sit in the mornings and the neighborhood was clean and quiet. Kitchen was well stocked and loved the decorative touches 」

「Visit was short and sweet. We were in town for a wedding, so only stayed overnight. The host was accommodating and helpful. The amenities were nice and everything was as listed. All in all was a great stay. Thank you.」

「Great communication! Very comfortable stay with nice backyard view. Looking forward to another stay.」

「Great place to stay in a great location! Everything was clean and in good working condition. The house was perfect for our multigenerational group ages 7-73. The kitchen was equipped with everything we could need. It’s very close to downtown Penn Yann. The expansive yard had plenty of grass for kids to play outside while adults gathered by the grill and firepit. Everything was as described and pictured. I would definitely recommend!」

「Answered any of our questions quickly.」

「Such a fun yurt and a peaceful location! We loved the proximity to activities and then relaxing with a glass of wine on the little balcony!」

「Great place with a great lakefront! Worked out perfectly.」

「Overall a great value.」

「The property was peaceful and serene. Everything we needed for a week stay was provided. We had a wonderful time picking blueberries, wine tasting, and hiking. The hot tub was so needed after hiking the Gorge Trail. The waterfalls were beautiful.」

「Loved the location surrounded by grapes and farmland. Very spacious. Awesome communication. And the price was perfect. Next time I’m in the area I would definitely check for availability.」

「This was a wonderful place to stay for the Romulus - Wine Country - dog shows. The hosts included thoughtful accommodations for our dogs including a dog bed, poop bags, treats, a water bowl and leash. It’s very nicely laid out to make a comfortable homey feeling. We really enjoyed the little outdoor porch and fire pit. And the coffee bar. The beds were extremely comfortable. All the furniture was. I would love to stay here again.」

「The property had a lake view and the inside was dated but clean. As we parked next to the house, the garage on the left (which belongs to someone else) had broken windows with junk inside the garage. Not a big deal but not a good first impression. The bathroom is very small and is directly off the kitchen. Kitchen and living room are adequate. Although there is an AC window unit in the window and if you sit in front of it, it is difficult to hear the tv. There is a train track by the house and...

「We did not end up staying here. We wanted to — we had just done a wine tour of the area and were excited to use the fire pit, the outdoor shower and cook dinner in the vintage camper. We couldn’t check in right away as the host’s cleaner had a miscommunication and hadn’t finished yet, but that was no problem because we were still on the wine trail. The host also explained that the grass was long because her mower was on vacation. Again, we were chill with this, things happen. But the smell of...

「House was beautiful. Close to wineries. Very peaceful. Would definitely stay there again」

「This is a beautiful home to spend time getting away and enjoying the peace and quiet . There is a lot to enjoy is this spotlessly clean home including the decks and watching the magnificent sunsets. There are a lot of small towns to visit and they have their own special charm. The host is amazing…. a phone call away with a question or concern. My friends and I loved our experience.」

「A perfect cozy getaway in Hector, NY! Tamera was an incredibly responsive host. For our first time here, she made the process super easy. The cottage was comfortable, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing Finger Lakes escape. The beds, linens, and towels were soft and cozy. Don’t miss a visit to Damiani Wine Cellars for exceptional wine and beautiful lake views. We can’t wait to come back!」
