"Cabin is somewhat dated, but it was clean and well taken care of, which is way more important to me! We were visiting family that have a cabin on Lake Minnewaska and the weather was wet and cool so we didn't get much chance to spend time outdoors. Some of my kids were able to fish off of the dock, which was very convenient! Beautiful backyard and quiet area."

"We couldn't be more pleased with our choice. Despite rain on and off for the 4 days we were there the home was spacious enough for our family (ranging from age 1 to 61) to spread out. Lots of room for the kids to play, adults to play cards and games and even space in the 3 season room to play guitar while gazing over the beautiful lake that was rapidly rising. Gary, our host, is an incredibly pleasant gentleman who made sure we were comfortable and kept us informed on what to expect as the lake rose due to extremely heavy rains. We still found plenty of time to enjoy time in the yard and a have a fire for s'mores. Our family recommends this property and its kind host without reservation. Thank you for sharing your family's beautiful home so we could make beautiful family memories. "

"Great place to stay! We were visiting a friend in the cute little town of benson and stayed one night.No front desk person but Easy instructions for check in and getting key. Only thing was the cleaning lady knocked on our door early in am to see if we had left yet. We were awake but if not I would have been super annoyed. I think they could use a better system than that for knowing when guests have checked out. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. "

"The check in staff member was very helpful. The room was a little small, but it had everything I needed. I did not see how to turn on the mini-fridge, so I didn't use it. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. I was happy that there was no scent of smoking inside the hotel."

"Our stay was very nice! The house sleeps well - quite and comfortable. Had a fire in the pit a night or two and ate dinner down by the lake on the deck every evening!"
