My visit to Malawi was too brief, only a couple of days, and I had no time to sightsee. The Blantyre and Kamaze area are surrounded by mountains. I wish I could have seen more of the countryside. I loved this quaint little grocery store on the side of the highway.

"Nkhudzi lodge surpassed all expectations. The location was perfect, the food was delicious, the staff were attentive and friendly and the drinks were always cold. Have never seen a more beautiful setting. Simple, relaxing and homely. We will definitely come back... soon I hope! "

"Definitely the staff & owner who were so accommodating. The place turned out fantastic for our 2 weeks of stay. Morning was so peaceful and surreal as the Wilderbeests & Zebras wondering next to our table. Overall, it was the staff that made all the difference. "

"Quiet, friendly place to stay with a lovely small restaurant patio. The staff was very helpful. VERY close to the National Archives, easy short walk to town. "

"Many small things can be done to make the living quarters better. Eg cockroach prevention, clean sheets, fix the fans. Beautiful location and the staff were lovely but over priced unless you are going as a group and can share the cost. "
