"The Shangri-La is great for families with young children. The indoor play area is maybe a little expensive, but the swimming pool and outdoor children's play areas are great. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food amenities are excellent. The breakfast offers a wonderful variety of options. This is my first choice hotel in Singapore. "

"There were 4 of us, two senior couples. We arrived at 1:30 in the morning. The night manager Darren was waiting to greet us and facilitate the check in for us. He was very kind and helpful. Our luggage arrived speedily to our rooms. The rooms were on the 33 floor and we're lovely. The next day and thereafter Alan the Bell Manager was very helpful with directions and booking transportation to our cruise ship. We were easily able to walk to the Raffles Hotel for a Singapore Sling and to the Big Bus which is the Hop On Hop Off bus. The Stamford Brasserie and the Skai Bar on the 70th were very good. We enjoyed the pool as well. We were so glad we chose the Swisshotel. "

"We arrived and were greeted lovely we told the hotel that it was the last 2days of our honeymoon and they upgraded our room and gave us complimentary upgrades of afternoon tea and early evening cocktails and canapés which was amazing and a great way to o enjoy our last few days here in Singapore "
