「Do not stay here. This hotel backs directly onto the Argyle Street bar patio. If there's a DJ playing, your room will sound like you're on the patio itself. The complimentary earplugs don't make a difference. The building is also very dated: patched walls, broken picture frames, cheap furnishings, and poor-quality toiletries. The central A/C barely cools the living area, and the bedroom gets uncomfortably hot with the door closed, even with the provided fan. Self check-in is unnecessarily...

「Room was clean and bright. Close to restaurants and parking behind the building was extremely convenient.」

「Gorgeous location with private beach. Highly recommend. However, disappointed the hot tub not working when we were there (likely another guest shut it off accidentally they said). One other small quibble: we were strangely given only three plates, three bowls. For the price point, I think they need not be so stingy on the dishes. Having said that, nicely maintained, gorgeous location.」

「One of the best accommodation during this Nova Scotia trip. Check in was smooth, AC was blasting when we entered the unit (30 + degree so we were so hot), two queen beds in two separate rooms, clean kitchen and washroom. It also had creek and benches so you could enjoy nature. We were there for only one day but we will definitely recommend this place. Also there is restaurant called Mr.Fish, amazing little restaurant and you can enjoy legit seafood. We will definitely come back for longer stay....

「It was a little smaller than expected. Bathrooms weren't too far, and were relatively clean. Nice fire pit out front. Missing i extra adirondak chair possibly. Not terribly private. Quaint nonetheless.」

「Unique property, staff was friendly and accommodating and there was a nice breakfast provided in the morning. Kids liked staying here, as there were 3 beds in our room so they didn't have to share. Our only complaint would be the bugs and spiders in the room. It is a "cottage style" vibe, so if you are looking for fancy, it might not be your place.」
