"The house was just as described. It was clean and decorated very nicely. We felt very much at home. It was great having the park right across the street. It's really nice that older kids can play at the park, and you can watch them while you relax on the front porch. It would be nice if the City of Emporia would put up "Kids at Play" and "Speed Limit" signs around the park. We would definitely stay again!"

"My husband and I were looking for a peaceful getaway away from the hustle and bustle and we found it here! The cabin was small; perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed fishing the ponds, looking at the stars, and just being in nature. The property is beautiful, the hosts are quick with responses, and seeing all the animals was so fun! Denali even came to our cabin a few times to take a quick nap - she's a great pup!"

The view through the windows when you walked in even made my teenager smile. Cabin has everything you need. "Overall, it was good to have a roof over our heads for the night. No complaints there. The original location in Eskridge ended up being booked for the evening, resulting in a late check in time. I received communication a day before our stay providing another location to stay at. The lakehouse was decent, providing all accommodations necessary. One hide-a-bed, a full size and a twin bed, the latter being quite uncomfortable. A slightly dirty toilet is my only complaint about the cleanliness. "
