「The road to and from the cottages is challenging for some. I was not fussed but my wife is scared of heights and in some parts was anxious of the sheer drop. The cottage takes you back in time as there is no electricity, hot water or mobile phone reception. I really enjoyed the seclusion and quietness but this may not be for everyone. The 'donkey' to have hot water takes me back to my childhood as it requires tender loving care and lots of patience and time. Here again, not for everyone but if...

「The property is far from town situated on a dirt road (15 km) and fairly dangerous to drive at night. We decided not to stay there and used alternative accommodation in town. This was not known to me when I made the booking, the road condition must be detailed on the website... 」

「What a wonderful amazing experience, from first communication getting to our destination to the last day. Serenity in all it's bliss, nature on your doorstep and the cottage has everything you need. Emaculate and so clean, this is a home away from home and we will visit again and again. Thank you to our host Niel.」

Negative, our daughter was not too happy with the mattress in the second room - but this might be her feeling only.」

「This property offered so much more than what was listed online. The house is spacious and comfortable. The host could not have done more for us. Great hospitality. Sitting on the porch, bird watching and listening to them sing was very peaceful and relaxing. The cherry on the top was when Dirk took us into the breading chamber and showed us the little ostriches hatching on the working farm. No commercial ostrich farm offers that amazing experience. 「We merely just for one night. Upon arrival, hotel did not have our booking information as Hotel.com did not inform hotel about our reservation. 「Cottage was charming and very clean. Situated in a beautiful area with incredible views for sunset! 」

「Great place and a Lovely room!! But the check in felt a little weird/very rushed. The manager showed us the apartment and explained everything in like 1 minute. It was alot to take in and remember and he talked very fast so I had to ask again several times... It felt like he was in a hurry and that in turn made us feel unwelcome. Very weird customer service. But the place was lovely in a great quiet place with gorgeous surroundings.」
