This was a gorgeous place to stay for my girlfriend and I. We had a beautiful room with a balcony that looked right out to the sea over the villa's gorgeous pool and backyard. The staff was so kind. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was delicious. It's a short tuk tuk ride from the down town area of Hikkaduwa, but it's nice to have a little peace and quiet here at this beautiful villa. I would definitely recommend it.

We stayed here during the offseason so there were not a lot of places open nearby and it was fairly quiet. We were the only guests at the hotel. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The hotel was great. It had a very large pool, a lovely open eating area and the rooms were fantastic. The staff were very attentive to our needs and were always available if we needed anything or had any questions. Breakfast was delicious.

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. It was our first experience at Sri Lanka. The location of Villa Tara at Hikkaduwa city is optimal - in jungle forest but in ten minutes from the beach also. Property is in fine condition and professionally managed. You will be provided with a top quality guest service. I stayed here for three nights with two adults and two older kids. We had an enormous room with a huge bathroom, dressing room. large balcony and...a rooftop jacuzzi with an ocean view! The staff treated us like royalty, and we even had our own butler. We could take our meals wherever and whenever we liked - in our room, on the beach, by the pool or in the open air restaurant. The food was amazing! In early April it did not feel crowded at all, it felt like our own private beach with friends.

First time I have tried king coconut (Local says Tambili) is yummy more sweeter than coconut water. From check in to check out , they maintain personal care , hospitality. I love Authentic srilankan spicy food. Room was beautiful and I like their artworks . Rustic finish furniture look greats. I would say it was more than value for money for me .

wonderful staff. We had a very beautiful sea side room on the top floor. The pool is a bit small but the location to the sea makes up for the small pool.
