"This property is very outdated. The 1st room we had was unsafe as the balcony door did not even lock. Rooms are in need of severe updating. Lack of hot water in as much we had to use other rooms to have a shower. If the hotel was busy this would been a major problem. The staff changed our first room but was not much better. Balcony crumbling concrete above us. When asked about the NYE gala staff did not know what I was talking about. I appreciate englishbis the staffs second language. But just...

"The service from staff was very good, commendable and accommodating when I asked to be changed from my room to another one. The food offered during breakfast was good, but I think the chef or cook could reduce the spiciness for the Western palate as not everyone is used to chilli spice hot tastes. Adding chilli sauce to a dish individually is easier than removing it from a dish cooked with chillies. My stay was good, and the hotel's positioning was great. It was easy to access shops. "We went from US to India for a week. I booked this place as it had good reviews. This is one of the best places in Surajkund but not the best. Place was okay but staff was very courteous about anything we needed. Breakfast was very good. This is a four star hotel. It’s not Taj it’s Vivanta by Taj😊. They had us a room on smoking floor and we had 2 kids. Floors in our room were sticky as the building was pretty old. Some areas were renovated and new like the lobby and some very old. Our safe got locked and SURMESH the guy who addressed every situation was awesome. He was always there with a smile on his face. He was so humble and respectful. We stayed for 4 nights and it was a comfortable experience. Overall a good time. "
