"There don't seem to be that many small properties to rent outside of the main villages and towns so if you want to feel a little more in the forest this is perfect. Heath's, woods and Hatchet Pond are all walkable from your door in a few minutes. The house is cosy with a lovely living room and well appointed to kitchen. The hosts were lovely and even left us some wine and chocolates. Recommended."

"This property was spotless and well equipped. It is a bit ‘off the beaten track’, but in a lovely location and within walking distance of an excellent village shop. There is another property adjoining this one. The provision of a swimming pool enhanced this property greatly. Although we only met the host, Helen, twice she was most pleasant and helpful. Would certainly recommend this accommodation if one is looking for peace and solitude and yet it is only about 5 miles from Romsey."

We stayed here with friends celebrating my 60th birthday and it was such an easy and relaxed place to socialise with a fantastic kitchen, living room and large jacuzzi. All bedrooms are very comfortable, light and roomy, each with their own en suite which was great. Would definitely recommend getting a private chef in which we did one evening, that was a real treat....
