"Great staff.friendly and courteous.historic hotel that used to be a stageing inn.well appointed and a really good breakfast.we opted for a snug room that we found to be comfortable with a good shower and bath.the hotel is right in the middle of lyndhurst so walking about the town and enjoying the pubs and restaurants was easy.we’d go again."

"We got what we asked for. All good except the bar was closed at 22:30 and the instructions in the room said it closed at 23:00. This was a minor irritation. Everything else was as expected."
