"The house was very well equipped and a great set-up for us. We used all the seating areas, the pool, the grassy garden with the adirondack chairs, the picnic table, the patio table right outside the kitchen. It was so fun. We all enjoyed it so much. The location was ideal! We rented E-Bikes from Libery-Cycle which were awesome. We rode all over the Dordogne Valley on the bike trails. We will recommend this place to all our friends and family. "We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."

"Séjour agréable, la résidence de plein air est agréable et bien entretenue. En revanche, on a eu beaucoup de difficultés à les joindre car il s'est avéré que leur box était HS, pas possibilités de faire les CB, (caution et paiement), et on n'a pas pu du tout joindre l'établissement pour préparer notre arrivée, et cela nous a valu des sueurs froides, car on ne savait pas comment récupérer les clefs -, sachant que c'était un dimanche . On a dû changer notre agenda, pour arriver pendant les heures...

"After reading the reviews we decided to take a punt and book the holiday. I’m so glad we did! All the reviews (good and bad) are spot on. The property is ‘rustic’. There are no frills but the layout of the house was perfect for 2 families and it is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. We all forgot towels and Lucie was at the door before I had even signed off. "

We were very disapointed with the standard of the property due to several issues.The house is very cold and damp and in some rooms has effected the wooden flooring,leaving a white deposit.Even in the kitchen, which has tiled flooring,surface water could be seen under our dogs bedding.The on-suite shower room wasn't very clean and had black mould around the shower tray and sink,which...

Grand Spot

"The hotel was as described and a lot better than some of the rather mean reviews !! Staff were friendly, and easy going, no rush, the breakfast was as described and plentiful. This is not a 4 star hotel its budget and worked perfectly for me. It does what it says on the tin !! Its great value and so near the railway station , yet on a quiet side street. Whafs not to like ?"

Visiting Martin Walker’s Bruno country

"Truly beautiful setting, wonderfully elegant. Dining on the terrace with hot air balloons floating on the horizon- so picturesque. Wonderful place. Indoor and outdoor pools provide excellent relaxation. Many good restaurants nearby, but we were happy breakfasting and dining at the chateau. "

"This was merely a stop off as it was close to Bas-Armagnac where we had a distillery tour. While we are more interested in French charm, this was more of a modern property but was perfect for our purposes. The room was huge and very clean with a pool view. The bathroom was awesome and even had a tub. The lobby area was nice and the staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend the property."

"Only comment would be that there were a lack of power outlets in the foom & the bathroom would benefit from some tlc. The bar & restaurant were not open. I'm led to believe seasonal opening although on Hotels.com said that they were on site however should gave advised if open or not"
