「Nice hotel overall, but a few frustrating issues during the stay. The breakfast room was locked at least 5 minutes before closing while guests inside were still eating, but no one new was allowed in. There was also no bar soap in the room at check-in, so I had to go to the front desk to request it. 「Almost everything in the room was broken. Door handles, sink faucet, door locks. Bedding did not match the bed size. Clogged sink and bathtub, direct tv showing no signal most of the time. Nobody was at the front desk most of the time and when they were they didn’t care. On site restaurant is horrible. Don’t stay here.」

「It’s hard to judge the property as simply good or bad. Here is what I wish there had been more transparency about. This is a very old, industrial feel building. Our room was cold, you don’t have a traditional heater or thermostat, it’s radiant heat and turning the knob did not help. Had to get a space heater from housekeeping to warm the room up as it was 49 degrees outside. The windows are super thin and drafty. There are hardly any electrical outlets. 「Check in was perfect! Breakfast is great, except at 7:30 in the morning, there was no coffee. Told the lady at front desk, she said “yeah, I know” but didn’t move. Rooms are great」

「Our family stayed at this location for our family Christmas. The property worked out perfectly for us. Well stocked board game area. Comfortable and large living room. Well stocked kitchen. The 3rd bedroom is a “trundle” type bed in a converted office…good for kids, not so much for a couple. The host responded to our few questions quickly and even sent someone to resolve a small issue with sidewalk salt. Will likely stay here again as our son will be living in Duluth for a while yet. 」

「Great property with plenty of room for our family of 10. Safe for the small kids and privacy for everyone. Easy space to make meals and just hang out together playing games, etc. Close to a great state park and beautiful views of the lake from the house.」
