「It was simply amazing. A rustic, no-key turn key suite which was more than comfortable and clean. If you do not like dogs, this may not be the resort for you as the owners keep them. Beautiful beach. The only drawback was the toilet area which was too small for my husband so I would not suggest it for anyone over 200 lbs. Apart from that it was quite comfortable with a rustic feel surrounded by natural vegetation away from the road.」

「Cool house with a great location on the island. House had everything we needed and was very private. This was the only spot on the island we were bit up by the bugs and a new ceiling fan above the outdoor couch would have been nice to have for some airflow. 」

「My mom and I absolutely loved our recent stay at Banana Winds on Cat Island! The location was stunning—right by the ocean—and the home was incredibly comfortable, well-equipped, and relaxing. It was hard to leave the house because it was so peaceful and beautiful.The locals were absolutely lovely, and the caretaker, Harrison, truly went above and beyond. My mom has alpha-gal syndrome, and this was her first time traveling with it. Harrison not only prepared two delicious, completely safe meals...

「The property is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. However, the listing was a bit misleading—only one bedroom and the bunkhouse were accessible, not the three bedrooms and baths advertised. There was no access to a washer/dryer, and the upstairs shower had very low water pressure. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom also lacked window coverings, which made privacy an issue. That said, the host was responsive and assured us these concerns would be addressed with the property manager.」

「Property was typical of a Bahamas out island VRBO. Very secluded, well used but clean, well equipped kitchen, and ice cold A.C. Pretty good snorkeling out front with a nice sandy beach 100 feet to the east. There is a slight current but fortunately it pulls you in not out. Internet was fast and reliable but I would recommend using WHATSAPP for phone calls. Be sure to get plenty of bottled water for cooking, drinking, and brushing teeth as a quick peek in the cistern will confirm the water is not...
