"This basic hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful with some local things, though they didn't know much about visiting Calakmul. I suggest hiring a professional guide for that. Beds were clean and comfortable. There was actually real cable TV (via satellite) which was nice to entertain the kids after hours of walking through ruins in 100 degree weather.
