"A nice cottage like accommodation with all you need, including the kitchen, easy parking, nice bathroom, ac, etc. The owner is nice. You can contact him via messaging (iMessage if you use iPhone). I don’t know French so I use the translation option to communicate and get response quicker. I booked through Expedia. It is better to contact the owner via phone for response. Close to beach. Nice mountain and ocean views!"

"Logement original au top ! Superbe vue face aux couchers du soleil La personne qui nous accueille est de très bons conseils sur la région. Piscine avec superbe vue, très appréciable en fin journée Petit - : obligation de prendre la voiture pour tous trajets (loin des villages et routes très pentues)Nous recommandons ce logement sans soucis !!!"

"Malgré un environnement exceptionnel, nous avons passé une seule nuit dans le bungalow Madras au lieu des 6 nuits initialement réservées dans le bungalow Caraibes : une très forte odeur d'humidité et de moisissures prégnante (présence d'un deshumidificateur), oreillers moisis, sous taies moisies et très tâchées, serviettes de toilettes sentant la serpillière mal lavée, tapis de bains déchiré, draps douteux, alèse de lit très sale avec de multiples tâches et des déjections probables de puces...

"A fun and unique experience in Guadeloupe. We enjoyed the Creole style house with a view of the ocean and pool. We generally enjoyed the openness but, as others have said, you should bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper due to the evening noises from bugs, roosters, etc. Bug spray is helpful but the mosquito nets do a great job of keeping bugs away at night. Be sure to get a car though, as even though my wife and I did walk to and from the villa into town a couple of times, it is a steep trek! There are no taxis in Drshaies"

Good location but low on atmosphere and facilities

"Lovely location and the quiet beach was good with enjoyable swimming and snorkling The facilities and service were a bit underwhelming. The breakfast restaurant is expensive and the bar not open and the beach restaurant not open each day. Housekeeping didn't always happen without asking. "

"Such fantastic, straight-forward service. Easy check-in, daily room cleaning that smelled amazing, and the grounds were impeccable. I could not have asked for more, I travel frequently and this hotel has the best, bed, pillows, sheets and bathroom. I have nothing negative to say. It was perfection. "
