I happened upon Hotel La Pau as I had extended my stay in Barcelona but had to switch hotels. What an unbelievable surprise it was. I am an absolute stickler for customer service and the pride and care La Pau took in their customer service was evident as soon as I stepped through the doors. Everything was amazing! The Hotel is in a great location and has an amazing view!! The staff gave us a special welcome detail when we got to our room. Like we say in Puerto Rico: “Tienen que venir y vivir la experiencia” !!!!

We are from Atlanta, Ga and stayed here 4/18 - 4/20 prior to our 30th anniversary cruise to Italy. The Hotel is amazing. The staff are amazing. They were so helpful and accommodated our every request. I would like to compliment the Chef de Partie and staff. The breakfast was fantastic! This hotel is in an excellent location. Blocks from Las Ramblas, the beachfront, old town, and great tapas. The hotel has a glorious rooftop restaurant with amazing food that’s priced right. On the subject of food, as you exit the hotel, turn right, then turn right at the first corridor. Walk straight ahead crossing over one nartow street. Then, at the next intersection turn right. We stayed at Hotel Barcelona Catedral for 3 nights and enjoyed our time there. The room was a smaller than I anticipated (we had an Executive Double which did not look like the pictures) but everything else was very good. The staff was friendly, and we used the bar for coffee, drinks, and dessert. I loved the location. While it was not easy for taxis and ride share options to find it is in a very walkable location. A lovely place! Check in was easy, reception was attentive and responsive to needs, place was clean and pool was a nice feature. A/C worked great however we had leaking from the ceiling due to the a/c unit, but reception was responsive and attentive to the issue. It’s about a 10 min walk from Sitges downtown area and two grocery stores next door was very convenient. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay here. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a fantastic location of the city. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel overall had a very nice vibe. We will definitely stay here again!

This property was in the best location. We really enjoyed our stay. The restaurant ladies were the best, same as front desk and the porters…. They noticed My husband birthday and left us chocolate :) quite heart warming when we were by ourselves traveling! Definitely come back when in Barcelona! Five star all the way

The amazing H10 metropolitan staff really outdid themselves! They gave really thoughtful gifts and I wish every hotel had outstanding of a service and friendly staff. Great location, great room very comfortable when the heart of the Plaza. Highly recommend and I will stay there again!

Such a beautiful place. Old, beautiful, well-maintained and staffed with outstanding young people. I especially enjoyed Maria at the front desk, Jose Manuel our porter. But really, all of them were so helpful and lovely. Charming, even. I love this place. I think I’m too old to make my way back to Barcelona again, but if I did, I’d definitely stay here. Each time we returned to the hotel and were greeted by the doorman, it felt like we were returning to a place that cares about us.

It is one of the most beautiful properties I've stayed in. There were incredible spaces all around the hotel that were great for just chillaxing. Closed the rooftop pool 3 of the 4 nights - and there was good service and great food up there.
