「This is a very modest hotel providing triple excellent service. I did have a slight delayed check in due to the receptionist who spoke very little English not understanding my insistence of prior booking despite having the corroborative evidence. 「Eugene the resident manager helped us out at every turn. The check-in front staff needed to see my Expedia reservation confirmation. WARNING: None of my USA Visa or MC creditcards worked at the hotel or the airport; there is an ATM on the street in front of the hotel. Eugene had to escort me to go use it to pay for my restaurant bill. But, there were at least 30 locals waiting in line and four armed security guards who let Eugene and me cut in line so that I would not miss my flight; I felt out...

We had to change our reservations due to contacting Covid and it was not great with Hotels.com talking to the hotel, but our local associates managed to change the reservations without penalty and then we had our returning flight cancelled, so needed to add another day. Management was helpful.」
