「Clean,Quiet and Peaceful」

「The cabin was way small for 4 adults -bathroom was way small - it’s perfect for young children lots of space to run and play - Hosts were very nice - But accommodations did not fit our needs so we left - Because the mattress were terrible lumpy」

「We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was amazing and had everything we needed and then some. Location is beautiful, although the lake didn’t have water in the cove just a short walk down from the dock and there it was. We generally are not board game people but played every night. One small issue with the hot tub but the host was very proactive and corrected our problem. We look forward to visiting again this summer. 」

「Property was as advertised: clean, neat, quiet, well stocked kitchen and linens. Owners were very responsive to questions. Property is located in a great jumping off spot for Mammoth Cave National Park and the surrounding hiking, biking areas and communities. 」

「The cabin itself is beautiful and the location on the lake is excellent, with kayaks and swimming supplies provided; however, the condition of the property was extremely disappointing, especially given that we paid nearly 1,000 for a three-night stay. Upon arrival we initially could not access the cabin, though the owner did respond promptly. The exterior was neglected with overgrown weeds and trees, moldy and unusable patio furniture, and a grill containing maggots. Inside, there was a strong...

「Had a great stay here. The place was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.」

「We had a wonderful stay at this lake house on Barren River Lake! Every year we do an annual “swarming” with my dad’s brother and sister and their spouses — kind of like a mini family reunion — and this home was perfect for our group of four adult couples.One of the things we loved most was that everyone could enjoy their own private bathroom while still having plenty of spaces to gather together. We spent our evenings around the fire pit sharing stories and laughs, and enjoyed meals together...

「Was a nice house however there was some difference in the listing and what was there. 2 queens 2 twins and one futon. Also the trees blocked the view of the lake.」

「Great place to stay with your dog. The deck has a rail all the way around. Beautiful view! Comfortable bed and furniture. Enjoyed the heater on the deck at night. Close enough to all the fun little towns. 」
