「Quick stay, but we loved that it was off the beaten path. Super clean. No AC, so warmer than we’re used to, but I knew that going in. Only surprise was the sheer number of mosquitos. Wow. But we used bug spray and moved along (and obviously that’s just nature and the season, certainly not a knock on the property). Would definitely recommend as a home base to explore the valley. 」

The location and view of the mountains is to die for I loved how the house was set up in a way that you’re always looking out a window at the mountain no matter what room you’re in. 「Tub drain was a bit worn. Otherwise great value for a family of 5. Enjoyed this much more than our hotel stays. The kids could run around (supervised) and made some friends. Great layout in the cabin stocked kitchen so you could actually cook and an apartment sized fridge. It was a home away from home 」

「This place had amazing views and was just what we were looking for to use as a short stay on our way home from the Ouray area and to see the Great Sand Dunes National Park before leaving Colorado back to Wisconsin. The owner answered all questions both leading up to the trip, and while staying at the house. Be prepared, there is not much of anything in the area for shops or food, but there is a dollar general 20 minutes away and a great place for food named "Food is art". They treated my family...
