This was a really comfortable hotel. Unfortunately, we were only able to stay one of our three booked nights due to a hurricane. The hotel was so relaxing, clean, and cozy that I was truly disappointed by that. Next time we visit Destin, I will 100% book Summerplace Inn. Travelers included one adult and three kids.

We came down just before a hurricane 🌀 and we welcomed. The staff was friendly, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was good. When the hurricane became a true threat we left early, canceling the rest of our stay. The hotel was easy to work with when requesting a refund. I do plan to stay here again.

I've stayed here several times both alone on work and with family on vacation. The staff is always friendly. Rooms are usually clean. My last room appeared to be midway through a remodel so carpet was mismatched, patchy paint spackle spots, and cigarette burns throughout. But, was good to lay my head for the night. Pool and hot tub are very nice.

We appreciated how our room was available early and we were able to get refreshed and put our luggage’s in the room. Staff were all very nice and the breakfast was hot and good to go. The pool we didn’t get a chance to go but it looked nice maybe next time.

A very pleasant hotel with great breakfast, pools and staff. Nice and clean. Tea and coffee available all day. It would be nice to have key accessible locks on the outside pool area. The hotel does lock the outside pool area every night at 9pm. Sincere regards, Catherine

Summer Place Inn is awful! No one should ever go there 😉😉Because I want it all to myself!! It’s the best place in Destin to stay!! It’s unbelievably affordable for such a perfect place. Clean, comfortable, convenient and awesome staff. Couldn’t ask for better.

Staff was very accommodating, room was very well kept and comfortable. The property is only about a 10 minute walk from the beach entrance so it was nice to be able to walk to and from the beach and not have to pay for beachside parking daily. Plenty of food and stores within walking distance from the property. Peaceful stay with no issues, staff were polite and helpful and happy to answer questions. You can tell they aren’t just there to make their hourly pay and go home, they seem genuinely happy to help you with any questions or concerns you might have. Housekeeping was very great also, during the stay while we were at the beach they changed our sheets, restocked the room with towels and cleaned without bothering any of our personal belongings. This is a great place to book for the Destin area as the price is far more fair than other properties nearby and the accommodations are quite nice!
