Sterling Shores Resort has a huge, lush, pristine Resort Complex and from your balcony you will be able to see the entire area to include the Community Lagoon Pool, the BBQ and Picnic Area, as well as the Oasis Pool right on the beach, and the sparkling Emerald Coast beyond. This home is ideal for a family or small group of friends and will leave you wanting more time to explore!

This two-bedroom, two-bathroom condominium is a Destin vacation delight! When you stay at Sterling Shores 516, you will likely be spending a lot of time on the Balcony soaking up the Florida warmth and sunshine, because the views are beyond compare! The Living Room is tastefully furnished with modern and plush seating providing the comfort and space to gather indoors to watch the large, flat-screen TV, socialize, or indulge in an afternoon nap. Adjacent to the Living Room are the Dining Room and Breakfast Bar which are spacious and provide a great place to gather for home-made creations should you choose to dine in. The fully-equipped Kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, and is stocked with all that is needed to prepare for those memorable moments spent with family and friends. The Laundry Closet is conveniently located in the main hallway just off of the Kitchen.

The Master Suite offers a main Master Bedroom, a private Master Bathroom and closet. The Master Bedroom boasts a King Bed, a flat-screen TV. The Guest Bedroom contains Bunkbeds (full-size bottom & twin-size top), flat-screen TV, and private access to the Guest Bathroom which has a tub/shower combination.

Destiny Beach Property Management were prompt in replacing damaged pots and pans, quickly replaced toilet tank mechanism and adjusted closet doors. We were impressed with their excellent service and our unit offered a great view and comfort.

Gorgeous view and excellent location. Not directly on the beach, but very close and easy to get to with the resorts personal walkway. The large pool is not heated, so very cold in March. Smaller pool was heated. The resort is beautiful and very well maintained. Several gas grills available by the pool for use. The unit was as described. Could use a good deep cleaning. Had a wagon for the beach but one of the wheels was broken. I had seen that in an earlier review and assumed it would have been addressed. The balcony table was breaking apart and is in definite need of being replaced. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked. Bathrooms are supplied with bath towels and travel size supplies. Bedrooms have no views. 2nd bedroom has bunkbed which could use some repair. The property management company sent us the codes for the main gate and when we arrived we couldn’t get in. Luckily there was a gentlemen behind us and he gave me a code to get in. When I went to the front desk area I explained that I was given this code and was told they had changed the gate code months ago. So not very happy with communication from the management company. Overall the unit fulfilled our needs and does have an awesome view.

Property was descent, the issues we had were that there were only 2 pool access wrist bands instead of guaranteed 5. The help number could not get us anymore the entire stay, could not get in touch with management? Never called us back. After I sent an email, I got a response 2 days ago saying they could not get anyone. There was no tissue in the tissue box receptacles. The elevators work poorly and long waits due to only one working on our side. We were stuck in the elevator for at least 10 minutes yesterday with no air and it was so hot. My little one went into full blown panic and I almost passed out. Had to sit down in hall twice before I could get back to the room.

This was a great location but we were very disappointed that the 2 pools they had were not heated and they have no hot tub. Destin can be chilly so that is a must for our family. They have a wonderful big pool that no one swam in for the week we were there. If only they would have heated it it would have been a different story. Our room was spacious but they did not do a good job of cleaning it before we got there.

Second time staying in Destin and at Sterling Shores. Location is great! Perfect property for our family of 4. The setup was great. Only challenge was trying to adjust check out times, which was eventually resolved after calling the company direct. We will be back!

Everything was great. A little sticker shocked on $70 a day for beach service. We opted out, beach cart on deck had a broken wheel. The property was perfect for our needs and the location was great. Everything was good. I would return. Tks.

The condo had everything you would need to feel at home especially traveling with a small child. We didn’t need to buy any beach toys since they had a few available for play. The staff kept the pools and grills cleaned everyday. Such a nicely manicured landscaping and easy access to the beach. The beach was very clean and private. Our view from the balcony was the best!

Overrall, I would not stay here again. The condo has 3 sets of elevator and only one set worked which was a major inconvenience for July 4th weekend. If you had a large load you waited 20 plus minutes. Most of the time you had to take the stairs and the condo was on the 5th floor. Not an easy task with kids and lugging beach stuff/ice chest. The condo did not have the bands needed to get to the pool as we only received 3 (for a party of 4) and one was broken. It also is not appear any how to get to the beach which is a hike. The water is nice at Destin and having the restaurant The Back Porch being so close was convenient. You can see the gulf from the condo at a distance but that is it. The condo does not have an ice maker and the bathrooms could use some updating.

The view and property is gorgeous! The private beach access was great and the pool was a hit! We loved being so close to so many great restaurants. The condo needs some work, it is definitely time to get some new rugs, they were filthy when we arrived, and the sofa and chair are filled with stains. The vents are black and dusty. And some of the balcony furniture was coming apart, the chairs were not usable. But overall the rest of the condo was clean and we were happy with our stay!
