Great time

The location is great. The amenities are fun to just enjoy there but you are close to so many spots. We enjoyed our time down there for our kids spring break. Weather was just right.

Acceptable Stay

The place looked just like the pictures. Checkin went very smooth and the staff was nice. The location was by many attractions and places to eat. Areas for improvement. The drain in the master bathtub was very slow so you were standing in shower water to your shins. The toilet paper holder kept falling off. Parking garage was a hot mess. Many of the employees parked in the garage which limited the spaces for those who were staying there. There was plenty parking away from the garage for the employees. The pool area was closed for a large portion of Sunday without any notice to the guests. There was no wifi in our room. Then lastly, when we went to checkout this morning at 8:15, there was a sign that said the hotel staff was out. Out of the last five years of coming to stay at various beaches in the pan handle, this was the first lackluster experience we have had. Some of these things may have been out of the hotels control but it took away from our experience.

Great place to stay

Location was very central to everything we wanted to do. Other guests were also friendly. Live music by the pool at night was an added perk, when the band was good. The only issues we had were that the master shower didn’t drain very well and there were a couple of questionable towels we decided not to use. Oh and the WiFi wasn’t working so we weren’t able to stream a movie at night. I don’t want those things to sway someone from renting this unit or others at this location. It was very comfortable with other nice amenities and overall we had a great stay.

Wonderful stay

we enjoyed our stay! Condo was clean and well taken care of. Pool and dining area were beautiful. We visited in March so not super hot, the pool was pretty cold, but my kids still enjoyed it. Great food and service. We got there a bit early and couldn’t do an early check in. Which after a long drive was frustrating and there was some confusion with door code/playground gate code. BUT that was resolved and we had no issues with our stay or accommodations. The area was great, located walking distance to restaurants and beaches. You do have to cross a busy road if you decide to walk. The shuttle driver was very convenient after our day out we didn’t want to walk back again. He was very friendly as well. All in all we definitely enjoyed.

Not meet expectation

Only provide one small pouch of shampoo and conditioner for 4 nights of stay. No detergent for laundry. No basic condiments (oil, salt) in the kitchen. Manager said they are not supposed to provide that. Don’t understand why since it could solve tremendous inconvenience for customers with small cost <$10.☹️

Destin Condo

This condo is beautifully furnished and the resort offers fantastic amenities (large pool, small heated pool, hot tub, tennis courts, basketball, pickle ball and on-site coffee bar/restaurant). The location was also great. Only a few minutes from the beach and close to local attractions. Our only complaints were with parking and lack of supplies in the condo. The parking garage is a haul from the condos, making unloading/loading the car challenging. We also had to run to the store multiple times for toilet paper/dishwasher tabs/garbage bags/beach towels. Overall, a great place to stay for families.

A little disappointing

Building coming in was under construction and just weird. Our place wasn’t as clean (I see every little thing, like shower curtain was disgusting). Tv didn’t work properly. We would not stay here again.

Good location

Good location. Stores/restaurants within walking distance. Beach is walkable but there is a free shuttle. Pools great and nice and clean. Restaurant at pool area, reasonable price and good food. Check in/out easy. Plenty of dishes and pans to cook with. Plenty of towels/wash cloth. Only problem was not clean very well considering Covid. It was dusty and bedspread in JR bedroom had stains and there was food left on it. Light twitches not clean. Not a huge problem. I carry my Lysol wipes and spray. Did notify the agent and she said she would pass the word on. But no offer to bring a clean one so I just went to buy another blanket to use.

Very nice

This was a very nice place for my family to stay. For some reason the room smelled like warm tortilla chips, but there are worse smells. We were a little disappointed to find there were carts available for bringing our bags up to the room AFTER we had hauled everything up, making multiple trips. But there was plenty of room for a family of 4 and we were very close to many attractions.
