Great condo for a small family of 4.25! :)

Pros: - amazing balcony view- easy access in and out of condos- steps from the elevator- beautiful decor & countertops- spacious living room- all necessities conveniently stockedCons:- A week before check in, I received an email from the condo owner stating there was extra fees for registered guests and instead of absorbing the cost as the owner who rented it out, I had to pay 15 per guest which was an additional 60 that was not communicated upon booking. (recent change after booking)- Beach chair rentals are 30 half day 45 whole day (other condos I've rented included a set)- Arrived at 5:10p on Sat, June 14 for check in and the doors were locked - hours of operation till 6pm. Called the emergency number as instructed for Sun arrival. Spoke to the property owner, Ken, who reassured me I could receive bracelets and parking pass on Monday. - The hot tub was out of order and unavailable until the 4th day of our stay.- just found out it takes 2 weeks to get my 1500 damage deposit back although it's been days 5 days since check out and guaranteed inspected & rented by now. Supposedly that's funded by VRBO but yet they've collected it and held my money for months but hey... What's another 2 weeks as a punishment for not purchasing the extra insurance?!

Perfect location for everything

Great location, great host, enjoyed the convenience of private beach access and close to other entertainment for our 5 year old son. Would stay here again, no doubt.

WOW!

Property exterior was well maintained, secure, with quick and easy access to the beach. Beach service that came with the rental was great. Condo interior was immaculate, comfortable, and colorful.

Great location

Sterling Sands is well maintained and in a great location! We enoyed walking to the Back Porch for meals, Big Kahuna down the street, and the arcade/track for go karts. The location can't be beat with starbucks, chik-fil a, and alvins isalnd all within walking distance. The condo itself could use a deep cleaning as we noticed excessive sand in the unit upon arriving & the dishes in the pantry were often not cleaned.

Destin Vacation

This condo was perfect for our family of 4 with two teenage girls. The second bedroom is small but was fine for us. I loved all the little extras here like hooks over doors for wet swimsuits, drying rack on balcony and 4 chairs on the balcony. The balcony view is beautiful looking directly out to the ocean. You can hear traffic in the morning from the bedrooms but walk into kitchen and you don't hear it anymore and have a great open view of the ocean. My only disappointment was the beach service, you sign up the day you get there and 1st come get front row. So we never got moved to front row and watched empty chairs every day on the front. We was just used to going down early and getting our chairs. The second row wasn't bad but would have enjoyed being on the front row a day or two. The pool was perfect and heated which was very relaxing. The condo was extremely clean, great location and well stocked. Our family had an overall perfect stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our Stay

We liked this place because it didn’t have a lot of floors and people, which means not waiting long for elevators and having to be 3 rows back with the beach chairs/umbrellas, easy parking. Well maintained, family friendly.

Great place to stay in Destin

The condo gave very easy access to the beach and facility amenities. The check-in process was simple, and communication with the owner was very easy. We'd certainly stay again!

The second bedroom had blood on the sheets when we arrived there. The closet door was broken, We were able to fix it so we could use it but you need to fix it. We really loved the view and our stay there.
