We had our two daughters with us (19 and 25), the bedrooms were a little tight, but we understood that would be the case when we booked. The check-in process was a bit tedious (first time I've had to send pictures of the water and electric meter before and after a stay). "I would not stay here if I rebooked this vacation. Negative: The apartment was clean enough but didn’t feel professionally cleaned. The finishes in the unit were low quality. "We loved our stay! The house suited our needs for our 2 night stay in Lake Como and we loved the proximity to a lovely hike over the peninsula and away from the "touristy" spots of Lake Como. A couple notes... the pool view is not the view from the house and there is actually a house in most of the view of the house with only a side view of the lake out of the main window so that was a disappointment and honestly a bit deceiving based on the pictures. There were no toiletries (soap/shampoo)...

"Directions to the unit were clear, we found the property easily. The 3 km road leading to it from the main road is incredibly narrow most of the time but even with traffic it is doable. We had everything we needed for our stay, kitchen items, washer, dishwasher. Our host even provided a welcome gift of pasta and tomato sauce and a bottle of wine. Wifi was good. Communication with the host was excellent. I can highly recommend this place to anyone."

(Der Zugang ist wirklich sehr steil und der Übergang zur Straße ist nur mit hochbeinigen oder kurzen Fahrzeugen zu schaffen.) Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man so braucht. "This place is great! It’s right in the center of town and close to everything in Varenna. It looks out into a beautiful piazza and you can also partly see the lake and mountains from the windows.
