"Starting negative. Management company expected a 5 star rating, if not then to call them. Honesty that caused a one star deduction alone. Honesty works better. Next is the neighborhood. Sketchy given the run down trailer park nearby. Then there is the bed. You need stairs to get up to it. Good lord, trying to get down at night if you have to use the restroom. One small stool, and a broken shelf is not acceptable for adults. Finally, the view and waves sounds are fantastic. ...

"Would definitely come back. Beautiful views of the ocean and sea birds! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Nice pool and hot tub too!"

"This hotel is right off Hwy 101, yes you may want ear plugs for sleeping. There was nibht road construction that we weren't prepared for that noise. I had ear plugs good thing. No blow dryer in bathroom. I'm sure I could have asked for one, but inconvenient and fortunately could let my hair dry during breakfast. The breakfast is egss, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereals, bread/bagals, yogurt - decent for sure. The Hot tub wasn't hot enough so we didn't use. Hotels need to keep at least at 101 degrees or bacteria issues. It was below that I am absolutely sure (I have a hot tub). Pool was decent and adult usage until midnight (kids til 10 pm) a great plus. Check out is like noon or 12:30 pm so that was awesome (with a 4 pm check in). Overall, I'd stay in this hotel again. Walk is down hill (paved) a few blocks to the beach and you have to walk uphill the way back, remember. But we're in shape for seniors and not an issue for us, otherwise its a few blocks to drive to the beach."

"The room was very nice and it was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The view of Depoe Bay on the ocean could not have been any better. It was a wonderful view. The continental breakfast was so so. The only issue we had was working in the dish television and we called the staff to come and she pushed a bunch of buttons and got it on, but a lot of the channels that are in the Guide, they gave us don’t work and she was supposed to come back and look at that, but she never came back. So we were limited and what channels we could find."

"The room was clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, there was no alarm clock and I could not figure out how to make the water come out of the shower head instead of the spigot. Also, and this was not something the hotel could control. The room was kind of noisy from all of the traffic on Hwy 101 which was nearby. I would recommend noise cancelling headphones if staying there. The celling fan was a great feature in the room. I'm sure the fireplace would be nice in the winter."

"Everything was well done, with one exception. Best first: The linens and towels in the room were very fresh and clean, and the room was generally clean (bathroom very clean). However, there was more dust in some places (fireplace mantel for example) than should have been. The wood floor also was a bit dustier than it should have been. Some corners had more small debris than should have been. I think housekeeping could do a little better job with floors and places they may think are out of the way. A bit more deep cleaning in other words. I think the room may not have been occupied for awhile, but all the more reason to do a run through and freshen things a bit. Otherwise, very good."
