Excellent Views. Place needs some TLC but also read that there is plans to demo and rebuild so that's totally understandable. Clean rooms and comfy beds for as busy as it was it was sound proofed well. Attached restaurant is closed permanently but that's also understandable if demo is coming. Would stay again.

I find beach properties often overcharge and underdeliver. This was not the case at Clarion Surfrider. A lot of times the ocean view rooms show just a tiny patch of blue between a bunch of buildings or obstacles. The centerpiece of this room was a picture window with the beautiful pacific surf, pounding in front of your eyes. There was a lovely, functional fireplace and functional jetted tub. They had a refrigerator in microwave, which I think every hotel should have as well as the obligatory coffee maker. I also like that they have a full length mirror; I don't know why people think you only need to know what you look like from the waist.up. When we checked in, we learned that the jacuzzi and fitness center and restaurant were closed. They mentioned that they had constantly been telling the person who manages their website this information, but it never gets updated. All in all, it was a lovely stay in the room was beautiful and we highly recommend it.

I stayed here before and decided it would be a cost efficient way of spending a few days on the Oregon Coast. I am not typically one to leave poor reviews because I know times are hard everywhere, and people are doing their best… but I cannot let this slide. When I went to check in, there was no one at the front desk, and another couple had already been waiting awhile. When we did get checked in, we got a disclaimer that the restaurant, fitness center, and laundry were all permanently closed, and that the property has been in dispute with Clarion about it, to no avail. Again, I was understanding because the rate was good and I knew what I was getting. What upset me was that when I walked into my room, the bedskirt was lopsided and bunched as if someone had taken the mattress off, and it was also stained in at least four places with dried, crusty, white substance in drip, glob, and squirt patterns. I don’t shame previous people’s desires even if it involves a moved mattress or a biospill. But I will forever stand on the principle of a clean hotel room where details are minded. I called the front desk and they came and got the bedskirt. I asked them to replace it and they said they didn’t have any spares- yet another sign of imminent decline. A newly married couple had come, and I imagined the horror they would have felt if that wound up being THEIR honeymoon room. Money troubles happen. Cleanliness is and will always be non negotiable, and this was inexcusable.

We were impressed we showed up real late and the office closes early the put our keys outside where we were able to retrieve them did not have to go to the office once ! Also for those of you that still smoke like my mother momma it does say non smoking property but they do have a few Ash trays out side that can be used just please use them or that rule will be taken away ! View amazing etc dog friendly I will defiantly be back 😊

Stayed 2 night for my anniversary. Great view. Old lumpy beds. Had to get different room. Checked in and first room had water puddle in middle of floor, and there was hair on the stained dirty sheet. Second room was better but the mattresses are old and my back hurts from the lumpy bed. Borrowed a dvd from office to watch movie but the dvd player in room was missing power cord. Didnt want to walk across property to use the hot tub and swimming pool but luckily my room had jacuzzi tub. Good quiet place but really could use updating

Loved the view overlooking a beach. Loved having a fireplace and hot tube in the room. Great Location. They are working on making restaurant upgrades. Friendly staff. Access to the beach and whale watching views

It was an average room. The view was good. The bed and pillows were great. Room condition is below average. I believe they are renovating so I understand. I would stay there again because the price was good.

Clean room other then tap water coming out brown for awhile. Very pet friendly which was awesome. Beach was awesome but pool was closed due to heater breaking so that was the dealbreaker for me although ocean view was amazing

The first room they put us in had no shower curtain, Mold on the ceiling. Plus, it wasn't the cleanest. The pool was too cold to swim in. They moved us to another room which was ok, just skimpy towels. Office staff was accommodating. I don't think we will go back.
