Escape to Harmony Cabin, our most accessible off-grid cabin tucked into 33 wooded acres at the base of Pleasant Mountain. With solar-powered electricity and Wi-Fi, it’s a cozy place to rest, work, create, or use as your base for exploring Maine’s Lakes & Mountains Region and nearby North Conway.
Harmony is also our only pet-friendly cabin. Please inquire before bringing your dog.
The cabin sleeps up to 4 with:
1 Queen bed
1 set of bunk beds
What’s included:
Solar-powered electricity + Wi-Fi
Wood stove with firewood
Two-burner propane stove
Basic cookware, dishes and utensils
Locally roasted coffee + tea
French press and coffee grinder
Fresh well water in jugs
Ice chest for food storage (bring your own ice)
Nearby composting toilet
Seasonal outdoor shower and sink next door
Warm shower about a 7-minute uphill walk away
Picnic table, hammock, fire ring and outdoor seating
Please note: There is no running water or bathroom inside the cabin. Guests must bring their own linens, towels and pillows. In fall, winter and early spring, we recommend a 20°F-rated sleeping bag. Because we operate on solar power, please do not bring high-energy appliances such as hair dryers, crockpots or space heaters.
We use self-check-in and recommend arriving before dark on your first visit. Outdoor lighting is minimal, so bring a flashlight or headlamp.
Outside your door, explore private hiking trails, our spring-fed mountain brook, dipping and soaking pools, and beautiful views toward Mount Washington and the White Mountains. Our land borders protected Nature Conservancy and Loon Echo Land Trust properties.
Harmony is family-friendly, and children 8 and under stay free. Depending on availability, you can also add a private wood-fired sauna session or private yoga class to your stay for an additional cost.
We feel wonderfully remote while still being close to outdoor adventures, restaurants, arts and nearby towns. Pleasant Mountain Ski Area is just 4 miles away, North Conway is about 25 minutes away, and Portland is approximately one hour away.
Come to hike, ski, paddle, mountain bike, read, write, reconnect or simply do absolutely nothing for a while.
