The Space:
Welcome to The Shuksan, an elevated three-level mountain chalet tucked among the evergreens of gated Snowline Community Club near Mt. Baker.
Thoughtfully designed with reclaimed hardwood floors, handcrafted lighting, wood framed windows, custom railings and a striking solid wood kitchen island, The Shuksan feels warm, distinctive and wonderfully connected to its forest surroundings.
This is a home designed for time together, with enough room to spread out when everyone wants something different. Gather around the wood-burning fireplace, share an unhurried dinner, challenge the family to a game of ping pong, or slip into the private hot tub beneath the trees.
THE MAIN LEVEL
The main level is the heart of the home, with an open kitchen, dining area and welcoming living room centered around the wood-burning fireplace.
Large windows bring the surrounding evergreens into view, while the generous kitchen island creates a natural place for morning coffee, casual meals and conversations that stretch late into the evening.
This level also includes:

• Access to the main living and dining spaces
THE UPPER LEVEL
Upstairs, guests will find two additional private bedrooms, each furnished with a queen bed.
A separate open sleeping nook includes two Twin XL beds, creating a flexible space for children, teenagers or additional guests. Please note that the Twin XL area is open to the upper level and is not a private fourth bedroom.
THE LOWER LEVEL
The lower level is made for relaxed evenings and rainy mountain days.

THE LOCATION
The Shuksan is located within Snowline Community Club, one of the closest private communities to Mt. Baker Ski Area.
Spend your days skiing, snowboarding, hiking, snowshoeing, mountain biking, fishing or exploring the scenic Mt. Baker Highway. The ski area is approximately 25 to 30 minutes away, with forest trails, river access and outdoor adventures even closer to home.
When the day is done, return to the quiet of the trees, light the fireplace, soak in the hot tub and enjoy having nowhere else you need to be.

Guest Access:
Guests have private access to the entire home, including the kitchen, living and dining spaces, three sleeping levels, game room, laundry facilities, deck, private hot tub, barbecue grill and driveway.
Guests may also enjoy Snowline’s seasonal heated outdoor community pool, typically open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, weather and HOA operations permitting.
The Neighborhood:
Welcome to Snowline Community Club, a peaceful gated mountain community nestled among the evergreens of Glacier, Washington.
Bordering the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest, Snowline is one of the area’s most convenient basecamps for exploring Mt. Baker, the North Cascades and the scenic Mt. Baker Highway.
Guests enjoy access to the seasonal heated outdoor pool, typically open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. The community also offers a children’s playground, open field, private walking paths, nature trails and scenic river access areas.
Outdoor adventure is never far away. Skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, rafting, fishing and snowshoeing can all be found throughout the surrounding area. Mt. Baker Ski Area is approximately 25 to 30 minutes from the home.
After a day outside, return to the calm of Snowline, breathe in the mountain air and unwind beneath the trees and stars.
Getting Around:
This property borders the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest and requires a vehicle to access. Please be prepared to arrive in a four wheel drive or All wheel drive during the snow season.

MOUNTAIN HOME LAYOUT
The Shuksan is a three level home, and stairs are required to reach the upper sleeping areas and lower level game room and hot tub.
The two Twin XL beds are located in an open sleeping nook on the upper level. This area is not a private fourth bedroom.
SNOWLINE COMMUNITY
Snowline is a private gated community. Guests must follow community quiet hours, leash requirements, parking rules and the prohibition on outdoor campfires.
Parking is limited to vehicles that fit completely within the home’s driveway. Street and overflow parking are not permitted, and all vehicles must be registered before arrival.
The seasonal heated outdoor pool is typically available from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend and is generally open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Pool dates and hours are controlled by the HOA and may change because of weather, maintenance or operational needs.
HOA rules allow a maximum of six guests from the property at the pool at one time, even though the home accommodates up to eight overnight guests.
The clubhouse and sports courts are not available to rental guests.
INTERNET, STREAMING & CELL SERVICE
The home includes high speed fiber Wi-Fi, making it suitable for remote work, video calls and streaming. Guests will need to use their own subscriptions for streaming services.
Cellular coverage can be limited in Glacier and throughout the surrounding mountain communities. WiFi calling may be helpful while at the home.
This remains a rural mountain area, and storms, falling trees, power interruptions or regional service issues can occasionally affect utilities and internet access. Temporary outages are outside our control, and refunds are not provided for interruptions to power, cellular service or internet.
WEATHER & WINTER TRAVEL
Mountain weather can change quickly. Guests should arrive prepared for rain, snow, ice, heat or rapidly changing conditions.
An all-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive vehicle is strongly recommended during the winter. Guests are responsible for checking road and weather conditions and ensuring their vehicle is properly equipped.
WILDLIFE
This home is surrounded by forest and shares the area with wildlife ranging from small woodland animals to deer, raccoons, bears and bobcats.
Please keep doors closed and never leave food, pet food or garbage outdoors.
GROCERIES & DINING
Glacier is a small mountain community with limited grocery and dining options. Restaurants may have reduced or seasonal hours, particularly during slower times of year.
We recommend purchasing major groceries and supplies before traveling into the Mt. Baker area.
DOG POLICY
One approved dog may join your stay for a pet fee of $35 per night.
Dogs must be at least one year old, remain off beds and furniture, and may not be left unattended in the home. Please keep your dog leashed within the community, clean up after them and help us protect the home for future guests.
