The Inn at Shasta Lake

8/10 Good

"We stayed in the Woodpecker room and enjoyed having the jet bath. There's a loud hum through the wall next to the bed from the air conditioning unit just outside the room, which could bother some people, but we thought it was like white noise. The bed was very comfortable, but there were only two standard pillows for a king size bed. Luckily, we brought our own pillows so that wasn't a big deal. We were surprised at the lack of some amenities, like glasses in the bathroom for brushing your teeth and no box of tissues or lotion available. There was also no soap near the tub. Having breakfast served in the room was very nice, but the food was just okay. Eggs seemed to be powdered and there was no sausage or bacon included. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again at the price we paid."

Fawndale Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"I love this place. There are only 3 or 4 cabins, or rooms, to each structure. And, there are about 3 different building structures. Each row of cabins are wood construction. It reminds me of summer camp. Each section is distanced from the other ones, and they wind around the large property. There are many trees and it feels like you are in the woods. There is a great fenced in pool and a gazebo. On my first stay there was a group enjoying the pool, but I didn't see one other person on my last stay, and have never experienced sounds from an adjacent room. It is totally quiet, and I need that to get to sleep. It is contactless registration, so you don't have to deal with staff either. They email you a code that unlocks your door. I was able to let myself (and my dog) in at my own pace. My dog was very happy there. All the amenities are quiet- the fridge, air conditioner, etc, and it has everything you need: microwave, coffeemaker, TV, WiFi. Totally relaxing and peaceful after a long, long drive. I almost don't want to tell you about it, because I don't want it to become popular."

Bridge Bay Lodge at Shasta Lake

8/10 Good

"Beautiful views all around ,lake was awesome , boating service great , I didn’t like about the huff restaurant running out of beer and some other stuff - i went twice the service was not really great and it was my first time to do 2 separate tips - one for the cooks and one for the bar - room was nice and clean The internet wifi does not works at all I like it because its pets. Friendly and i always looks mainly that for my golden Lab , And we are looking forward to rent a boat house next time ! Or a cabin It was nice for me in October because there is not A lot of people around that month I definitely will go back and I hope the comments help the staff to improve better at least for the restaurant and the Internet. The rest is awesome and beautiful."

Lake Shasta Lodge

8/10 Good

"The room was clean. The bed was a little firm for our taste. The rooms need a bit of updating. Looks like a leak in the bathroom. The floor was a bit mushy. It was close to Lake Shasta which we were going to the next day so that was convenient. The staff was friendly. We were able to park right by our room. It was close to eating establishments."
