"This very old hotel was remodeled to be so quant and beautiful. The room was very relaxing with the updated decor. The room smelled and looked very clean. The hotel description stated check in time from 3-10pm. Office closes at 10pm. I did not notice this fine print until 11pm!! Terrified I was not going to be able to check in after a 12 hour drive I quickly called only to discover the owner had my information all ready for my arrival. I only needed to complete the form and grab my key. Such a huge relief. The owner was very accommodating and genuinely kind. "
"This hotel was great for our party of 4 adults. Parking is easy & safe. The hotel is well kept and cared for. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the beds/pillows were very comfortable! Would stay here again! It has a limited breakfast. "
"This hotel is conveniently located as a quick stop over to continue on our trip. We were thrilled to find a room available. It was neat and clean, beds were very comfortable. We were glad for a good rest."
"The room could use a little updating, especially the bathroom. The staff was really nice and very helpful. The on-site dining was good, but really needs more than just Asian food. A good ole hamburger or French dip would be nice. We had to park a ways away from our room, which was difficult for me to navigate in the dark since I have to use a cane. The breakfast was outstanding. It made the whole stay worth the effort."

"Amazing house. Yard was great for dogs, and for all of us to hang out play. Everything was so clean, and had everything we needed. Kelly was a moto work with. She has put a lot of hard work and love into this sweet house. We will be back to swim and fish this summer!!! Thanks Olson’s. "
"Great place to stay for the price, right on the lakefront. The floor is in mid-repair, which made it seem a little low quality. Other than that, it was great for my kids and I. "
"This was a basic motel that suited our needs just fine. I stayed here with my husband and two teenage children. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the motel. Overall, we didn't really have complaints, but I do want to point out a few things that we noticed that could be bothersome to other people.
It seemed a little loud. Our room was next to a set of stairs and we could hear people thumping up and down them throughout our stay. We had a difficult time figuring out how to use the TV, but our family is technology impaired, so that was probably just an "us" problem. The rooms are small and some of the furnishings are outdated, but it is obvious that they work hard to keep everything clean and looking nice. The breakfast room is tiny and provides very few options. We each just grabbed a banana or an apple to take with us.
I have never stayed in a Budget Motel before, and I assume that many of these things contribute to the lower cost of the rooms. If you don't care about the bells and whistles, but do value a clean place to stay, this motel would be a great choice. We would consider staying here again if we ever end up in the area."
Escape to Luxurious Lynndyl Resort—Nature, Comfort & Serenity Await
8/10 Good
"Wonderful home in tranquil LynndylThe check-in process was very frustrating. We never received the check-in instructions that were supposed to be sent an hour before our arrival. When we got there, we had trouble gaining access to the property. The phone number listed on the VRBO page connected us to the VRBO call center instead of the host, which left us scrambling. We eventually reached the co-host and were able to get inside.Once inside, the home itself was excellent—very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The only minor issue was that the refrigerator and pantry contained quite a bit of old food that should probably be discarded.Overall, this is a great place to stay in a peaceful location. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it, provided the host improves the check-in communication for future guests."
