"Overall the property was clean, however, the housekeeper was rude and very unprofessional. One hour before checkout, we were reminded by the housekeeper to leave the room immediately before checkout time. This was the first case where I was forced to pack my bags in a hurry. Would not recommend this place to anyone. We were confronted with an unconventional rule stating, unmarried or friends (male, female) cannot stay in one room and were asked to book another room by the receptionist."

"Super cheap and super basic. Situated In a relatively grim alley, hotel is made up of rooms without external windows set around an internal hall over several floors, feels a bit like a Victorian prison! Still, guy in charge was helpful and spoke good English. It seemed clean, and bed was comfortable enough. For the few hours I spent here in the afternoon waiting for a night bus this did the job great. Don’t book a two week vacation here though."

"We went for some work and we stayed there. And we informed the staff regarding hot water I mean to say Gizzar was not working when we inform them they told that u have book the hotel probably 10 days before and u have to inform us regarding the hot water then we will make it arrange they said. It was tooo cold and they never gave us hot water I wish I could give them Zero. They are unprofessional. Never ever wish to stay they’re again if they provide us for freee also. Worst experience "

"lol Elegance? Don’t be fooled. The pictures tell a decent story, but our room was run down, the option for our 13 year old was a dusty matress. Sure, it was $60nzd per night, but the drilling from the building next door, the concrete dust, the smoke and the mess, I’d have paid a maximum of $30. Staff were making furniture in the lobby, clever for sure - I couldn’t make a sofa from scratch, but honestly, do that somewhere else! We bailed after three nights - give us credit for sticking it out,...
