I stayed 4 nights at the Ajanta Hotel in New Delhi and it was a very good experience. The room was spacious, quiet and clean with a very comfortable bed and a good shower. Buffet breakfast was good and the airport transfer was a very pleasant experience. Hotel staff were very helpful and spoke very good English. Plenty of options nearby to enjoy local food in addition to the hotel restaurant.

The property was ok from inside but its fare is not at all justified. Property looks specious in the pictures but not that much in reality. The surrounding of the property is not good, very crowded. The property was clean, rooms were is good state but rent is not justified at all.

I was really impressed with this hotel – excellent value for the price. Yes, the building is older, but it's clearly very well maintained and managed. My room was clean and spacious. Every staff member I met was friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was delicious too. If you're traveling on a budget and want to be in this neighborhood, I highly recommend staying here.

Good buffet breakfast and restaurant for an evening meal. Attentive and proactively helpful staff throughout. Local traffic makes getting back to the hotel slow but that is Delhi and not a reflection on the hotel. The hotel had everything that we wanted and is in a good central position. We would certainly recommend it

The price was great. The hotel was quiet and centrally located. The breakfast was great- all you can eat with a great variety. Everyone was very nice. I found this Hotel through the Lonely Planet book and I’m so grateful i found it. It’s basic but was PERFECT for me. They have a cafe/restaurant on site which is convenient too! If you are ok with a basic solid hotel to crash at the end of each day, this place is perfect!
