We arrived to a warm welcome from our hostess who couldn't have been more helpful.
We arrived to a warm welcome from our hostess who couldn't have been more helpful. The cottage was lovely, clean and fully kitted out with everything you could possibly need...well almost. We ate out most of the time but on the one occasion we cooked couldn't find a grater or frying pan. Minor detail :)) The parking permit was an absolute boon as it was carnival week in Deal and very crowded. Many thanks for a wonderful week.

If you are staying in East Kent then Deal is the ideal location and in Deal Middle Street is the place to be. It is pretty and historic and very centrally located. Good access to the beach and shops. This cottage is cute and charming. It is decorated and finished to a very high standard. The log burner was a godsend during our very cold February stay, but however cold the weather, this cottage is snug and warm. When staying at holiday lets the welcome pack can vary from OK to non-existent, at Anchor cottage it was very good indeed with plenty of bits to keep us going until we could get to the shops.Overall we can thoroughly recommend this cottage. We had a lovely time, and so did the dog.
