Perfect for my needs, felt clean and comfortable. Smelled nice, which may seem strange to say, but a lot of other cheaper places smell funny. I've stayed here multiple times.

The Golden Inn in its day was the perfect place to stay. And for me, today it is still the perfect place to stay. The Golden Inn is one of those mature roadside motels I remember staying in as a kid while on family trips. I was in the area for a couple of days for a little gathering and needed a place to sleep and shower. As mentioned, the Golden Inn is an older motel with modern updates

I had a great 1-night stay. The property was easy to find, and a very short drive off the highway. The property exterior is well maintained. The motel is a classic family motel which structurally looks straight out of the 70's both inside and out, but in very a good way. Plenty of parking, well-kept units and a very nice, friendly staff. This will be my go-to when travelling through the mid-west.

If you want a no thrill clean, quiet, relaxing night's sleep, this is the place to go. Family owned for almost 50 years; this is a true piece of Americana that will be missed should it ever close. It is the only l motel I will stay at in the area.

I chose Golden Inn because of all the excellent reviews and they were accurate. Nothing fancy, just a very clean, well maintained, old school motor inn. A very quiet and peaceful night. Super friendly and helpful owner. I believe the owner is the staff.

This was such a cute spot to stay! The staff was lovely to work with, accommodating our late travelling arrival over the phone. The room was neat and tidy with a clean vintage style. The flowers outside the window were a nice touch. The motel is far enough away from main roads that traffic noise was barely noticeable. Felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, even though we were 2 minutes from the interstate! Would love to stay again if ever the road should take us through the area once more. Thank you!

I stayed here because they are pet friendly. I’d stay here without pets. It’s dated but the bed and bedding was excellent. The room was perfectly clean and the grounds were nice. Staff was very friendly. No complaints at all!

We stayed here overnight during a cross country road trip. We chose the property mostly based on location and proximity to our route. It was darling! We chose a double queen room, and it was super spacious and immaculately clean. Communicating with the owners to arrange late check in was easy and effective!
