Luxurious, rustic, private vacation home with great view.
10/10 Excellent
"This was a charming and comfortable base for biking and hiking in the Canaan Valley and areas beyond. We appreciated both the privacy of the bedrooms and the ample space in the living/dining room and kitchen. Nice views off the balcony, easy to use hot tub added to our enjoyment of the property."
Rippling Waters is a Gorgeous cabin close to Timberline mountain slopes!
10/10 Excellent
"This cabin is a total vibe! The location is perfect, the back yard, though small, is supreme chill territory: the babbling creek running beside the fire pit and hot tub create a peaceful environment after adventuring out into the wilds of our gorgeous state. This location is the perfect starting point for so many parks and forests. The cabin is well appointed, clean, warm when it needs to be yet cools down when appropriate as well. Communication was quick and effective, check in/out was flawless and we appreciated the minimal requirements at check out. 10/10 would stay here again."
Private mountainside chalet bordering Dolly Sods with beautiful panoramic view.
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay was very relaxing, and the house is tucked away in the woods and had everything we needed. We had a cozy stay and were visited by lots of animals including a few deer, a groundhog, and a number of hummingbirds. The fireplace and hot tub were used frequently and we got some beautiful sunsets. The house is located incredibly close to Dolly Sods were we went on a hike, and we were just a short drive to Davis and Thomas where we got some good food at Ish Kitchen and saw some live music at the Purple Fiddle. Blackwater Falls State Park is close by, and we spent some time there as well. Plenty to do nearby, and the house provided a good home base and relaxation station. Brand new Weber grill and a nice large deck to hang out and watch for critters. Hosts were prompt with getting fresh chlorine tablets into the hot tub as well. We really enjoyed the stay."
"The bathroom fan, which was also the light, sounded like a motorcycle chopper. The floor above sounded like someone was going to fall through the ceiling. The bed was comfortable but the sheets were rough. The breakfast was pretty much non existent. We were pretty disappointed."
"The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It’s cozy with a great view of the mountains. We were a party of five plus our dog. The loft has a double bed and bunk beds. The master had a queen size bed. Everyone slept great. The pantry was stocked with spices and olive oil which was very helpful. "
"We have stayed in many wonderful house rentals but this was probably my favorite. It was very spacious and just lovely. The house was right on the river with amazing mountain views. We are a family of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids ages 14-3) and there was plenty of room for all of us. The kids especially liked the big room downstairs with two sets of bunk beds and a huge sectional couch. At night we roasted marshmallows in the fire pit and made s’mores. The open concept kitchen/living room/dining room was huge and gave us plenty of room for game nights.During the day we visited Smoke Hole Caverns and hiked Seneca Rocks and Blackwater Falls. West Virginia is incredibly beautiful and this part of our vacation exceeded my expectations. This beautiful home is part of the reason why. "
