"Staying at this historical house in the hills of the Appalachian Mountains was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were taken back in time the home’s architecture, antique touches, and beautifully preserved details made it feel like we were living inside a story.The house itself was spacious, full of charm, and perfectly blended old world character with modern comfort. We loved exploring the unique features of the home, from the creaky staircases to the cozy fireplace, and every room seemed to have its own personality and history to share.The best part, though, was the view. Waking up to the rolling Appalachian Mountains spread out before us was breathtaking. Whether we were sipping coffee on the porch at sunrise or watching the sun dip behind the hills in the evening, the scenery was absolutely magical.This isn’t just a place to stay it’s an experience. Perfect for anyone who loves history, mountain views, and a sense of peace you can only find in the Appalachians. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to come back.A rare gem that combines historic charm with mountain beauty. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway with a touch of timeless elegance."

"This is our second time staying here and it didn’t disappoint. The house is equipped with literally everything you’d need. Misty is so responsive and accommodating. The porch was the perfect place to sit out and enjoy natures views. "

"As described, the location was perfect. We hit 4 trail systems right by property. Place was very large and had enough property for parking. First day we hired a guide, showed us a little of everything. Next 3 days rode our own. Property was well maintained great food, Indian Ridge Bar & Grill, down the road. People in area very helpfull. Will book again. "

"Outlaw House was the perfect place to stay for our ATV getaway. There were plenty of comfortable beds for 9 people. The driveway had room for 4 cars, 2 trailers, and 4 ATVs. The porch was peaceful and a great gathering spot in the mornings and evenings. Good location for HM and Outlaw trails."

"Communication with Sarah was great, she was on top of everything and quick to answer questions. This is a great spot for riders to hang out after a long day on the trails. Quiet neighborhood, didn’t meet any of the neighbors. The town of Mullens was great, all the businesses were welcoming and the people were very nice!"

"The owner is very responsive to inquiries and even checked on us the following day to ensure everything with the property was as expected. The place was clean and well put together. The front porch was awesome and plenty of space for a group gathering. The grill was clean and ready for use; bring a metal flipper! The queen and king beds are comfortable, the bunk beds are great for young ones; daughter slept fine on it. The only reason why I rated the online listing a 4 vice a 5, there were a few clarifications I needed to check with the owner; address was shown but when you click "get directions" and different address was populated. Items to bring was listed on the detailed page but the overview page said 3 bedrooms and didn't say bring sheets and blankets. To the owners defense, they did say check in 2 days prior. I had just got off a work trip, quick pack, and checked the property details that night, and they did respond around 1130 PM. Amazing! So my fault for not reaching out the details sooner. Lessons learned, overall we would stay here again....just make sure you contact the owner in advance."

"This house checked all the boxes for our large group(13) plenty of bed space. we all agreed it was a great house! The game room/ living room was a great bonus! Another bonus was the ice machine! This house has a very large gated/locked parking lot which was perfect for multiple large trucks and trailers. The location was good about 10 minutes or less to the trail head from the house . The owners were very responsive and did check in which was great! Another bonus we noticed was there was definitely plenty of bath towels they thought of everything. We definitely recommend this house and we will be back thank you again for letting us stay! "
